Watchtower Records just released informations about their furthcoming compilation, which will appear around march 2014.
Three CDs full of the newest Freeform Hardcore - two of them unmixed - will be released as digipack, followed by an digital release at Trackitdown 3 months afterwards.
Preview clips will be posted soon.
On top of that, there will be interviews with artists new to the label, which appear periodically over the coming weeks

We are glad to announce a new 2h show for HHC.COM Radio called "Freeformaniacs" with many DJs, which will start on 31st October 2013.
As new manager of Freeformaniacs, Hellfury talked to Stray (responsible for streaming FFM on kraftyradio), Pearsall (former FFM manager) and the rest of the crew plus Silver: We decided to move the show because we wanted an more friendly time for main audience, which is in europe, since former date was 11am thursday gmt+1.

Internet website vice over the weekend posted a news article in their music section titled Why everyone needs to fall in love with happy hardcore.
The article gives overall good praise to the genre while giving a picture of the genre from an outsiders or newcomers point of view. The only gripe we have is the youtube sample videos linked in the article to are grossly mislabeled.
Vice is the same media outlet that recently took former NBA player Dennis Rodman to North Korea for a video shoot and basketball game.

The entire Australia With Force back catalogue has now - almost three years after its closure - been made available for free download.
Here's a message from label-runner, Starstruck:
"Hey everyone,
It still seems like just the other day that i started up my own Hardcore label called ?Australia with Force?. The label officially began with it?s 1st release on the 27th of February 2009, and concluded on it?s 50th release on the 28th of December, 2010 ? almost 2 and a half years ago now.
My intentions were to provide a solid outlet to display a brewing congregation of talented Australian producers, and in turn, showcase to the rest of the world our sound.
The material is un-available to purchase now, and has been for quite some time. In the past few years, I?ve received many messages and e-mails asking where to purchase certain releases from the label. So rather than let all these releases we have all worked so hard for sit beneath dust, hidden from the world, the entire label, ?Australia with Force?, (consisting of 50 releases and 94 tracks in total), is now freely and readily available to download.
Jamie has very kindly offered to host these tracks on Hardcore Highlights, Thanks Jamie! On that note, here they all are. Please feel free to share them with your friends, and so on. I hope I attract some new fans to Hardcore at the same time.

We are glad to announce that HappyHardcore.com radio will stream the first 24 Hours of Hardcore History on 7th September 16:00 GMT+2!
For all of you who hear about Hardcore History for the first time, this project is the community attempt to create THE LONGEST SET with 104 DJs, 120 Hours and more than 2200 used tunes so far it's looking good!
This project will end on 17th Feb 2014, and with current pace we will break two current Guinness world records.
The first one is held by one DJ called Smokin' Joe Mekhael, who created a 168 set last year, while the other possible-to-beat record is Longest club DJ session relay, with 119 DJs.
Many famous DJs like Thumpa, A.B, Jakazid, Tanuki, Substanced, Eufeion, Alex BassJunkie, S3RL, Gregor le Dahl, Elipton, XIO, GULD, Rob Da Rhythm, AndyTheCore, Le Dos-On, Shingo DJ, Nightforce, Cloudskipper, XAVI BCN, Hellsystem and many many more supported us so far, there will be more to come.
With this lineup we accomplished an extremely wide range of all hardcore genres as well, from UK Hardcore til Speedcore!

If you ever have had taken a closer look at the fine print on vinyl record or the jacket notes you might recognize the name Paul Rodriguez. He is also the voice intro for the song Hixxy - Thou Shalt Not Forget.
Paul Rodriguez was a music publisher for hundreds of happy / uk hardcore artists since the music was born and represented thousands of songs. We have learnt that Paul passed away this week, he will be missed.
RIP Paul Rodriguez.

At Peace - The Holy Gates
At Peace is a new and innovative producer whose style and sound bring something completely new to the Hardcore table. His music spans across Hardcore, Trancecore and Freeform, but with a trademark hard kick.
The Holy Gates is At Peace and Tears Of Kunlun's debut album project, and showcases At Peace's unique sound. The album contains tracks such as Cost Of Sacrifice, which grabbed the attention of followers in the Freeform scene. It also features The Price I'm About To Pay, which achieved BBC Radio air time in January this year.
The album's music and artwork are closely linked, and the whole project forms something of a spiritual and emotional journey. This release is a single audio CD, with each CD face printed uniquely containing a word or name that inspired the album. The release contains 14 tracks 12 full length mastered songs, a prelude and an interlude.

After 10 incredibly rewarding years of Executive Records I have decided to finish the label. It has been a huge journey that I am very grateful to have taken part in. I believe the time is right to do this now. On this journey I have had many people who have helped the label grow. It's been very tough at times but I would not have got through it all without the help of the following people...

Rory (Impact) had a massive influence over the years. We wrote so many tracks together and in that time, together launched Recycled Records in 2008. Not only on a business level but as a best friend, Rory played a big role in Executive Records. That also must be said with Dover. Ben helped me with website, promotions, all those YouTube clips, thank you so much, I have never forgotten, plus all those times at gigs.
Daniel (Antix) played an enormous role in the first 5 years of Executive Records. We had some of our biggest tracks with productions such as 'Sweet Release', 'In My Eyes' & 'Know Who I Am'. Without his help the label would not be where it is today.
Artwork played a big role in Executive Records. The Executive logo and release artwork had changed over the years to suit the crossover from vinyl to digital. They were amazing and I must hugely thank Steve (Nex Level) and Dimitri (Freesoul) for the tireless work.
I finally must thank the following for the help in promoting the label Tulsi, Ash (Sublime & those awesome T-Shirts helped the label out so much (thank you), Analog (Your help on the Internet was unbelievable, all the promotion) I cannot begin to say how thankful I am, so many years), Chris (MVP), Maddie, Chubby, Lorenzo, Fazed, Marc Loage, Cotts (Thank you so much for the YouTube videos), JTS & Zander (One Seventy - Thank you so much guys, I will be forever grateful), Anfcore - All those mixes (Echild Days) have not been forgotten, DJ Silver (Happyhardcore.com), Richard @ Electronica (Your advice has been spot on and never taken for granted. You are a talented producer, waiting for a good opportunity to represent yourself on an upcoming compilation?
Due to the huge success of the community driven album project called 'The Past. The Present. The Future 2013' (1100+ downloads in first 1,5 months), there will be a remix compilation til 1st September 2013 of 'Dys7 - Cherry Bomb'.
Community voting will be held afterwards and winning remix gets a place on 'The Past. The Present. The Future 2014', which will be released in early 2014.

Well-known Producer Alex BassJunkie released informations about his first upcoming album on facebook today.
His project will include 15-20 unmixed tunes with a great musical range (from Gabber, Freeform and Powerstomp, til Hardstyle, Trance and Hands-Up).
He aims for an release in september or october 2013, on his own upcoming digital label called 'Nightlife'.

One the uprising stars in the scene released his album called Breaking Boundaries for TrackItDown on 06.05.2013.
MC Offside, who started his carrer 2008 at an event called "The Harder Styles" and is on stage with DJs like Gammer, Sy, Marc Smith, Breeze for example, brought up some UK Hardcore tunes featuring S3RL, Gisbo, Clowny, Technical Difficulties, Shock, Darbo and Snipes. After some gigs, he decided to start his own digital label "The Future Of Hardcore" in late 2011.

Many album releases and announcements happend in 2013, so here is an overview about the freshest stuff:
1) Hardcore Legend UFO announced his unmixed solo album called "Genres", including Breakbeat, UK Hardcore and maybe some Freeform bits. Releasedate is still unknown.
One clip has been released on his soundcloud profile yet. More information about tracklist and clips will be added here
2) Eufeion's solo album "Digital Age" will be released in April or May 2013, filled with unmixed Upfront and Dubcore.

3) Chaos teamed up with newcomer RyanCore to create an unmixed hardcore compilation aswell.
There are no more infos yet but we will keep you updated in this thread.
4) Bananaman gave away his album called "Blast from the Past" on "Hardcore Underground vs. Elation".
Only a few had luck and grabbed one of the very limited copies filled with 8 til 10 classics. Bananaman made two different versions of his album with Fade: the 10 track CD is even more rare.
5) UKH Label Trackmaster Music plan to release their 2CD album with 27 unmixed tracks in April or May 2013.
Several clips have been released here.
6) 3Form Records released an compilation called "Fallen Angels".
2CDs and 26 unmixed tracks represent the newest stuff from UKH, Freeform and Makina.
7) This list continues with an solo, unmixed album from french UKH newcomer At Peace.
Releasedate in planned for summer 2013. Complete tracklist plus clips can be found here.
8) After the great success of Freeformania, Thumpa, the man behind Rebuild Music, plans to release his next compilation called "Against All Odds" this Summer.
9) All Around the World caused a debate about dubcore over the last months with their well-selling, latest 3CD hardcore album "Clubland Xtreme Hardcore 9", mixed by Breeze, Darren Styles, Gammer and Hixxy.
10) Hardcore Underground released two new albums in March: "HU Breaks" and Marc Smith's "Notorious by Nature".
The first double CD release include one mixed set by Gavin G. and one unmixed CD both filled with fresh Breakbeat.
Marc Smith aimed for more bouncy, hard and classic Hardcore for his 3CD monster release. 2CDs are unmixed and 1CD is mixed by the legend himself.
Furthermore: Hardcore Underground 6 (4 mixed CDs with Scott Brown, Al Storm, Fracus, Darwin, CLSM, Entity, Thumpa and Obie) and Brisk's Solo album are planned for Summer or late this year.
11) Freeform Producers Epyx & Cyrez re-released their 1CD album called "Two against the Void" in January.
12) J-Core producer Helblinde made one of the first kickstarter/indiegogo campaigns for his new album called "Life starts at 200BPM" release in Summer 2013.
As the title says this album will be filled with 200BPM UK Hardcore, Freeform, Tribecore and many more genres.
Helblinde will create collabs with experts like TANUKI, JAKAZiD, 3R2, Shoujo and many more!
Customers almost spend $3.000 althogether within a month twice as much as actually planned!

13) J-Core again. This time "LoooooL Hardcore", mixed by DJ Laugh. This multi-genre CD represent the crazier side of Hardcore.
14) Exit Tunes present "SPEED アニメトランス BEST 17" (released on 02.01.2013) and "SPEED アニメトランス BEST 18" (Release on 01.05.2013).
Those mixed J-Core compilations include 1CD each, filled with J-Core remixes from Anime songs.
15) Last but not least: Free J-Core compilations from For you Sounds, called A-Remix Nation, with many decent J-Core Newcomers :) |

The DJ Lineup for the latest Hardcore Underground Compilation (6) has been announced and is as follows:
CD1 - Scott Brown & Al Storm
CD2 - Fracus & Darwin
CD3 - CLSM & Entity
CD4 - Thumpa & Obie
Currently the label are looking at a "relatively vague "Summer" release period".
Whilst they have been compiling internally for a while they will soon be asking for public submissions
once a reliable method has been found for doing so.

| HHC.COM Community Mix: Hardcore History |

Are you a DJ and interested to be part of a community challenge?
In this year's community driven mix called "Hardcore History" the goal is to create the longest hardcore set to date!
All DJs involved have 10 til 20minutes to strut their DJing stuff before passing the flame to the next DJ, who picks up where the previous DJ left off by mixing out of their last track. All contributed set pieces will be then combined together to 2 hour parts til 17.02.2014 23:59 (GMT+1) and the resulting mayhem is posted on soundcloud for everyone to download.
After one and a half month we've got 11 DJs, 106 tunes and more than 5,5 hours of music!
UK Hardcore, Freeform, Breakbeat, Gabber... even J-core and many other contributions of other hardcore genres will be shaping this towering project.
We have got two parts representing our previous work:
Part 1: 1-2 Hours
Part 2: 2-4 Hours

| Blasts from the past! Hardcore Legends Return! |

Over the last year we've seen several of the original happy hardcore DJs and Producers re-enter the scene DJ Demo and Vinylgroover were amongst the first to announce their DJing return, with vinylgroover offering up classic happy hardcore sets and DJ Demo most recently booked in to DJ at the upcoming Hardcore Underground Event, his first in 12 years!
Then next, of course, Bananaman announced his return to the production side of Happy Hardcore!
Bananaman had huge success in the scene with stompers such as Together Forever, Dreams Surprise and a large catalogue of others under names such as Jhal, Evolve, Three Amigos, Silk Cuts and many more!
He's spent the past few days giving away free music, and giving info on his upcoming productions with UK Hardcore producer Gisbo which is forthcoming on Hardcore Underground.

Electronica Exposed have released the first part of Freeform Exposed 2. Freeform Exposed 2 is split into 5 parts,
all of which have been professionally mastered. The first two parts are mixed by Shanty, and the final three parts feature a

Two Against the Void, by Finnish producers Epyx & Cyrez, is the first full length artist album to be released on Watchtower Records
The album is due to be release 19/02/2013 and pre-orders are now open.
This release consists of 15 DJ friendly tracks covering the darker, deeper sound of Freeform and features remixes from Tyranoid/Strongstream, Endemic and a very special remix by Pain on Creation and Substanced.
Everyone that purchases this CD will receive a Free mix download, mixed by Epyx & Cyrez themselves.

More information on the forthcoming Hardcore Underground Breaks album has been released. This double CD album (1 unmixed and 1 mixed by Gavin G) will feature
breakbeat hardcore from all sorts of artists such as: CLSM, Fracus & Darwin, Al Storm, Entity, Sam B, Chris Ross, Skampy & Bustin,
Strife II, Karl Future and more! As well as clips on soundcloud, a youtube video was posted when the album was first concieved.
The release date has been penned for 4th March.
Hardcore Underground have also posted a sneak peek into another forthcoming "digital only" (confirmed) album by the crew:

The cover artwork for the upcoming Clubland X-treme Hardcore album has been released, along with a few
details about the compilations contents. This 9th edition will contain 3CDs and feature 4 mixes from DJ's Darren Styles, Breeze, Gammer and Hixxy. Though not official one of the DJs has announced it is expected to be released around the end of January.
Expect more news and tracklists in the coming weeks.
