Paul Elstak to feature on kickboxing reality TV show |
Author: silver
|
Reports have hardcore producer Paul Elstak to feature on a Dutch reality TV show about kickboxing. Our translation says it will be broadcast locally in May in the Netherlands on SBS 6 which would lead us to believe unless it is live the show has already been filmed.
Perhaps some of his previous hardcore hits will help him "Rave on" or move like "Life is like a dance" or be the "Bad Boy", alternatively if he does bad he might just actually see the "rainbow in the sky" .We'll keep you updated as we learn more.

Charlie lownoise & Mental Theo return? |
Author: silver
|
The two names that are infamous for the early happy hardcore sound, but has hardcore winded down in 1999 they left for other things, or is it? An upcoming event in Scotland, UK called "Back to the future old skool '07" has them both listed as performing artists.
Obviously the event is an oldksool revival but for these two to actually agree to perform shows an interest in the genre again, a return? We'll keep you posted. |

Rave weekender - new album |
Author: silver
|
Details on a new album called "Rave Weekender" or "Platinum Rave Weekender" depending on the release list is set to be released shortly with at least one release list listing the album as early as May 17th 2007 in the UK for release.
The album will be a multidisc album with at least one of the discs mixed by DJ Vibes. Details are sketchy at the moment on exactly the music content but going from tracks already signed to the release the album will contain some upfront tracks if not all, but we are not ruling out hardcore "classics" featured on the album.
The album is being released / distributed by Apace Music (formally Beachwood Music), more details as we get it. |

Return of NAHM on HappyHardcore.com radio |
Author: milo
|
Nothing has been posted publicly regarding NAHM (North American Hardcore Show) for quite a while now. As many are aware NAHM quietly went off air on HappyHardcore.com radio over the holidays in December and we can't even count the amount of times I've been asked what happened. The NAHM crew have taken the last few months to reorganize and redevelop something fresh and flexible to continue on with the work NAHM has been doing with the scene.
So for those of you who enjoyed the show - good news... the show is coming back May 3rd 2007!
The show is going to be in a new format - the show will no longer be live, instead there will be a pre-recorded show with an arranged initial airing date before going into regular play rotation.
Episodes of NAHM will be able to be heard beyond the initial airing date on DI radio! So if you miss it, don't worry! The extended show will be aired a few times over the month at different time slots so no matter where you are there will be an opportunity to catch it. These changes only apply to pre-recorded non live shows.
Now you're asking ... extended show? You read it right. The crew are expanding NAHM from 4 hours, to upwards of 8! While the final length will vary from month to month the crew are going to need it with the newly expanded line up.
Not only will there be your usual suspects Milo & Virus, but AC Slater, Brak and Phosphor will also be back on board with the crew in addition to No Left Turn, Sunrize, Jimni Cricket, Ruffage, Starr & Sixxx, and more of the freshest talent North America hardcore has to offer. |
