New hardcore series launches in Japan |
|
A new hardcore CD compilation series is set to launch in Japan September 28th 2005 called Hardcore Super J-Trance party mixed and produced by DJ Silver. The NuEnergy collective speak out on music pirates |
|
The NuEnergy collective have posted a small article about the current state of hardcore piracy and the effects it is having on the small, independent and underground companies that rely on an income to be able to exist and supply new music. Hardcore music in general might have picked up but vinyl and download sales are extreamly poor, ask any hardcore label owner or artist they will tell you the same thing.
A quote from the article:
The N.E.C is doing all it can to track down people offering our music on file sharing sites. Anybody found to be doing so will be banned from the NEC site and many other leading underground music sites that are joining together to stamp out music piracy. Repeat offenders will have legal action taken out against them.
If you know of people that actively share the N.E.C's music please warn them of our actions towards them.
The full article can be read on the NuEnergy website. |

HappyHardcore.com has soft launched v3 of the base code. There are a stack of improvement which we will post all about once the teething issues have been ironed out. Everything seems to be working except a few quirky bits and pieces to take care of.
One thing you should instantly notice is the speed of the site, we have totally re-written our backend code (the programming code that runs the site) to get rid of old "Snitz" backend. The site is running about 300% faster from initial testing but we expect to squeeze even more speed out of the code later on.
There will be some bugs as we have re-written over 100,000 lines of code to make the site better for everyone - they shouldn't be biggies but bare with us if something is not working as per usual. |
