Budding hardcore producers listen up! Hardcore producer K-complex has released a hardcore music MIDI pack for people to buy at a new site dancemidisamples.com.
According to K-complex the pack featuring 30 upfront hardcore riffs for use in your own productions, the pack ranges in style from full on rave to freeform, with audio demo available. The site also other styles of midi music files as well as sample packs for other genres.
UK Hardcore producer Brisk has posted something extremely rare, totally a once in a lifetime chance to buy some of Brisk's vinyl dubplates that he has collected over the years of DJing. He currently has 1 up for sale with more coming in the future (listed below).
If your unfamiliar with the term dubplate, before CDJ's a if a DJ wanted to play a unreleased or pressed tune a dubplate had to be made. A dubplate is nothing more than a vinyl shaped, 7,10 or 12 inch piece of acetate-coated aluminum. These acetate versions of records are generally considered prototypes and are played by DJs long before a traditional pressing is made. The vinyl you purchase at your local record store has been mass-produced and is made from a plastic polymer, whereas a dubplate is literally one-of-a-kind. Unfortunately, a dubplate will only last 30-50 plays before the quality degrades to an unacceptable level due to the material itself. Acetate is petroleum-based and malleable, the groove is cut directly into the record. Traditional or commercial vinyl is the sort that has been heated, machine-pressed, and is comparatively resistant to wear.

New information has emerged about a new album from Apace music called "100 anthems - Hardcore", we've managed to get some pre-artwork and a tracklist. Release date from the distributor says March 4th 2008, but some online stores are reporting it as 25th of February 2008.

Next generation vol 4 set for 2008 says Brisk

Hardcore producer Brisk in a NYE video interview for the UK club Fusion (link) has said that "Next generation vol 4" should be released sometime this year (2008). We'll keep you posted on developments!
The "Next generation" CD series is a 2 CD release mixed by Brisk & Ham showcasing the labels talent. In compairsion, Next generation vol 1 was released by Rumour Records, vol 2 was independently released by the Next Gen boys and vol 3 was released by the now bankrupt Resist.
Hardcore Coalition is the new hardcore / freeform label project from Dusk Till Dawn, Electronic, Just Another Label, Sound Assassin and Stompin Choonz, and is pleased to announce its first 3 releases:
Hardcore producer and label owner Lee UHF has released information about two new album projects from Bedlam records.
Here is what Lee has to say about the albums:
The first will be a Bedlam Future Album, and will feature many sort after (Bedlam) tracks such as High Contrast (Arkitech Rmx), Tabz- Got 2 Move, New City (Dj Kurt Remix) And a whole host of other tracks. crossing the hardcore spectrum, along with some brand spanking unreleased and unheard material!
Both albums will be in collaboration with one of the best label stables around for Undergroud hardcore/freeform (will announce this as soon as we have confirmed all details fully)
The second album will be a Bedlam Classics album with a few unreleased beauties thrown in for good measure.

Fresh hardcore music and labels for 2008! After the riff raff of the demise of Amato Distribution, Icon Distribution have sent over details on all their labels they are exclusively distributing with info and new labels.
Interesting to note, record label Essential Platinum is starting a new sister label "Essential Platinum most wanted". Hardcore producer Darren Styles is starting a new label called "Junkbox" as is Breeze with his label "Futureworld".

Kicking off 2008, Nukleuz have confirmed a new hardcore album release for 2008 called "Hardcore Nation - The Next Generation". At this point, distributor, number of discs, DJ's, if it is download only, release date and style of hardcore are all unknown at time of writing.
Nukleuz have said they have "confirmed a few DJs already and am waiting on confirmation from others." We're be assuming it will be upfront hardcore due to the title of the release.
