Gammer has posted information about the full release of Muffin Music 1 basically Muffin Music 1 will be seeing its full release on the 2nd of July 2007, however you can place orders upfront with shop.happyhardcore.com, these ship on Friday which means you may very well have it to your door by Monday.
Gammer has also short posted a promotional DJ mix which you can download directly.

As you may or may not have heard and read internet radio in US is under fire at the moment as Royalty rates for webcasters and internet radio stations have been drastically increased by a recent US ruling and are due to go into effect on July 15 2007 (retroactive to Jan 1, 2006!).
How does this effect us? HappyHardcore.com radio is a 100% fully legal webradio station, we pay royalties at already much higher rates than regular FM stations, which amounts to 10's of thousands of dollars a year just to run the station (for free we might add). These new laws without going into the details would effectively increase the rates in the hundreds of percentage (1000%+) and would effectively shut down the streams. Digitally Imported is our partner site in operating our radio and would effectively go bankrupt overnight and shutdown as 17 months of back payment of royalties would amount to several millions of dollars to which we have no means of paying!
So what happens June 26th 2007? It is the day of silence, HappyHardcore.com radio and Digitally Imported along with several thousand major radio networks including Yahoo, Live365, MTV, Rhapsody, AccuRadio and more will shut off access to their streams entirely, while other webcasters plan to replace their music streams with long periods of silence (or static or ocean sounds or similar) interspersed with occasional brief public service announcements on the subject.
Please excuse the interruption of our normal programming, but consider that unless something is not done this silence may soon become permanent. We ask that you take action by calling your Congressional Representatives today. For citizens of the US, please click here for instructions how. | Luna-C moving to the USA |

Luna-C, most notably of Kniteforce and KFA, has posted information that he intends to move from the UK to the USA sometime this year. Luna-C stated several reasons to why he is moving including the current state of music sales, cost of living and personal reasons regarding people in the UK.
Taken from his post about the move and on will Luna-C continue to make music his reply was:
I guess many of you will wonder if I will continue to make music? I am wondering that myself. I think that probably, yes, I will. Mainly because I will rebuild a studio in the USA, and I think its in my blood, I cant help myself. I like the idea of being able to really spend some time on music and I would like to try to do something new within Hardcore - because it desperately needs it. |

Warning for the hardcore purists this is not a hardcore CD album it is a dance album but we couldn't resist posting the info on it based on the tracklist alone. Take a look? Recognize anyone? Yep! The tracklist is littered with hardcore artists and/or their alter ego artist names! So what does all this mean? Hardcore artists are in demand as general dance artists? Hardcore is merging into commercial dance? Hardcore artists also have a softer side? :) You decide, the album is out next month either way.
Interesting is that there are some interesting titles in there that "should" also have hardcore mixes for them as well. Hard Energy is a 3 disc album with the third disc unmixed, it is released July 2nd 2007.

30,000 members!
HappyHardcore.com has passed 30,000 registered members on the main site! Many congratulations to go around to all the members past and present. There are many people working behind the site to keep it running, many things are a regular to the site you never see. Thousands of man hours, lines of HTML and code, bandwidth bills and other costs, but at the end it all it's great to have a site dedicated to the music we love.
A little history on the site if you're not familiar with it: Around 1997 the previous owner of HappyHardcore.com ran the site as a porn site, we had no affiliation to that company obviously and picked up the domain in 1998 when the previous site ceased operations. HappyHardcore.com (as it currently stands) started as a single HTML page with a link to HappyHardcore.com radio and a voting poll around 1998, yes HappyHardcore.com radio existed before the site actually did!
We redesigned in 2000 to the current logo and templates and launched the forums. Around the end of 2000 redesigned the top page into it's current modular form. From here onward we resigned, recoded and rewrote nearly 100% of the site to just keep it running. For the radio, our partnership with Digitally Imported started in 2003, we teamed up and merged HappyHardcore.com radio into their exist radio network to form a new hardcore channel and later a gabber channel. In 2005 and 2006 HappyHardcore.com won best hardcore website / magazine in the yearly hardcore awards, hopefully 2007 as well (fingers crossed!). Obviously we skipped over quite a few things and features as there are too many things to mention.
For the future we are currently working on another major new section on the site that will be amazing we thing, no details just yet.

Resist have emailed us asking to remove the tracklist of the upcoming 3 disc album FreeFormation due to the tracklist apparently not 100% final yet.
FreeFormation is a 3 disc release with Sharkey & Kevin Energy on discs 1 + 2 and K Complex, Arkitech & Eryk Orpheus on the third. The album is due to go on sale July 16th 2007 according to the upfront press release. |

Great news for all the freeform hardcore lovers, UK based record label Resist Music, makers of the Bonkers, Hardcore Heaven, World's greatest hardcore series', have sent over HappyHardcore.com an exclusive bit of news on an upcoming freeform hardcore album called FreeFormation, based around the UK event of the same name.
The album is a 3 disc release with Sharkey & Kevin Energy on discs 1 + 2 and K Complex, Arkitech & Eryk Orpheus on the third. The album is due to go on sale July 16th 2007 according to the upfront press release we have, artwork to follow and the track listing as follows:

An interesting title popped up on some retailers releases lists over the weekend, Hardcore Adrenaline vol. 2 is listed as coming out on July 9th 2007? We have not got official confirmation of this release or this release date, we'll keep you informed!
Hardcore Adrenaline vol.1 (order) was a triple disc CD mixed by Stu Allan, DJ Seduction and a bonus "bootlegs" disc released 22nd Jan 2007 by Nukleuz and GUT Records.
