DJ Impact has sent over HappyHardcore.com some exclusive info on his current state of affairs and his plans for the future which don't involve hardcore music anymore unfortunately:
There's been a few rumours going around that I have left or am leaving the hardcore scene. I didn't want to announce anything and didn't want to really make a big speech or anything, but i also don't like rumours and i'm sure the people that care would like to hear it from the horses mouth...so i'll keep it as short as i can.
For those that do care, the rumours are true and i have stopped writing Hardcore. Why now you might think? Well...Whether you love me or whether you hate me, In the 10 or so years that i have been Producing hardcore, I have always done it for One sole reason..."For the Love of the music" I've loved this scene and everything it stands for since i was 13, but unfortunatly my heart just isnt in it anymore and i cant write music that my heart isnt in.
Will I be back? I never say never, but unless i find some love again for a scene that ive always adored, I will not return.
As for my Labels...I leave Recycled to Haze, so that will continue as planned. He will always be one of my best mates and I wish him the very best with everything. Unfortunatly, being the sole owner of Infexious, this will cease to continue.
I would like to take this opportunity to Thank everyone that i've ever worked with, i've always learned something from everyone. I've met some great people in this industry and made some great friends. There's so many people i would like to mention, & it would take all day and bore most people if a did =P However i will mention one person especially that i would like to thank and that's Kevin Energy. I've worked with Kev for many years and through good times and bad, he has always supported me, always worked tirelessly himself in pushing the music and is one of the most genuine and honest people you'll ever meet. I wouldn't be where i was today without his help and support. He's been a mentor, an inspiration and most importantly, a good friend. I hope that he reaps the rewards for his consistant hard work and doesn't lose faith like so many have before.
Lastly, but most importantly, i would like to thank all the people that supported me...The promoters that booked me, The record labels that released my music, The Artists that released my tracks on Albums,The people that bought and played my tracks, The Ravers that danced to my sets, and most importantly, to everyone that respected what i did and believed in me....You have all given me something that i will take with me wherever i go, for the rest of my life.
As a little way of saying thanks, i have compiled a mix of some of the favourite tracks i have written over the years for you all to download for free. I hope that some tracks will give many of you some great memories, as they have me.

| Details for Crush on Hardcore 4 |

News today of the fourth release in the free to download hardcore album project Crush on Hardcore. Project leader Joris has taken a backseat on this release with hardcore producers Eufeion & Bondy leading this round.
The date for COH4 isn't final yet but production starts in January 2009 we have been told.
How is this legal? The artists and DJ's have full permission from the copyright holders and publishers of the tracks (yes they asked them). Look for the free to download mix in the future.
