The same is true for 90's Hardcore. The fact you consider it real Hardcore is purely subjective, it's your opinion only. I don't like new stuff any more than you do but I'm not going to pretend I'm more right to like 90's stuff than anyone is to like anything else.

Smoogie, there's a difference between new and Real. In the 90s, it was fresh & new, artist could do whatever they pleased because any new idea was accepted. Today's Hardcore is just as "real" as the 90s, the only difference is there is nothing fresh and innovating, it's all the same template, except for the odd track or two. BUT, that's for almost every genre of Dance, it all has a "standard" template. Look at Psytrance, almost EVERY song has that rolling/pitter-patter bass.

You guys are all retarded! lol
There's one thing you should know about human nature; it's that we're never ever fully satisfied, no matter what changes we might even manage to bring about.
So with that in mind, how about ye just listen to your favourite styles or whatever ye might be into and be grateful for them - there is sooo much music in the Hardcore scene that is still absolutely brilliant, there is still lots of talent in this scene so why not explore a bit as well as sticking to your own tastes but if ye happen to not like what ye find while exploring, no need to criticise everything and dismiss it as crap.
So just enjoy what you have got but every once in a while you could embrace other styles.
Me, personally, I like bits n bobs from all around the scene; breakbeat, freeform, UK... etc
At the moment, the Hardcore Underground crew really stand out and am loving the unique freeform sounds aswell.
I know I'l probably get a beating from ye all now lol... :)
