not quite sure what happened after 2000, if they left it alone it would of been fine.. what we have now is music for clubs because the big djs aren't giving small lables a chance.
So what? Does it matter where the music is played? It's the same music whether it's played in a club or in your bedroom.

they say hardcore needs to chance to evolve..... so where's the change now? we've had a club sound for about 4 years. Bring back REAL hardcore and add the (original idea) fun element back in.
REAL hardcore (as you like to call it) was much worse than the songs I hear daily now, hardcore or not.
Get off your high horse and say something nice for a change. We all know you like hardcore from back in 95, so change the record.

That was a very informative post, give yourself a pat on the head, hard enough to knock some of the shit out of your head and through your nose.

Ok not all tracks are boring but things do need to change, bring back breakbeats and mix it with somthing new? hardcore is about beats, not trancy pop ballards on fast forwards lol Anyway there is some good hardcore out there, it just isn't as well known beacuse it isn't relesed into the charts
Are u nuts!?, back in the day?....there where the best mate, dj vibes?...the ****in god of happy hardcore! think they should try doing sum old style happy 'core again....big up oldskool

Yeah, they've run into some problems, but rest assured, it will be out in the New year.

Haha, excellent response mate!
I, myself, do prefer the old stuff...but instead of constantly moan about it...I go and BUY the older stuff.
And as for bringing back the oldskool sound...there are quite a few that do (Heaven7 - Dance me (What a f**king tune!!)) to name but one.
Also, all those saying "It's crap....It's just sped up trance", Think.
'Back in the day'- virtually everyone who wasn't into hardcore was calling it the same thing. Now, people are still saying it-but still say it's changed?! How?
Sure, It has changed..or evolved to what it is now, and there is tonnes of new tunes out there!! If you actually take the time and look- The tunes on all recent CD's aren't the only hardcore tunes around. Plenty to suit everyones taste. Plus, There are loads of EXCELLENT producers on here! Ionosphere, AudioX to name but a few (can't think of others off-hand).
Just on the off-chance, with reguards to tracks sounding repetitive, I've found a few that really do which frustrates me. There is a track on the new bonkers album which has exactly the same background melody/riff as your shining / future shining. First thought it was some sort of re-mix...but it's not related at all.
Still, with all the other great tunes on the CD- I didn't moan too long.
Also, one think I may point out---which is really obvious: No-matter what you or anyone else does- be it making music, mixing, whatever. There will always be someone to criticize your work. So be patient with these producers, they can't please everyone at once.
**Not THAT's a rant!! - apologies if none of it makes sense...I simply don't care.
...Looking forward to WOW 10!!
