That is pretty much right. We have to put our own events together and until promoters come and see people dancing to hardcore you will never be booked even if you had the best of mixes sent to them. atleast in the UK they say ok and if no one likes it they don't get put on the bill again. UK djs gets the foot in the door, US djs get the door slammed in their face and then gets punched in the mouth for even asking to do a show.

But hardcore would BLOW UP in the US if it wasn't for promoters. I've had about 30 hardcore mixes "Borrowed" and never returned to me from people that heard me listen to it and they were in love with it. It is all a matter of time I think

Why do you care so much about what other people think? Wasn't it you who was saying we shouldn't follow fashion etc etc?

Don't forget the fact the police are against you. Think Utah. God forbid kids having fun with loud music. At Night. Oh my, thats unholy!

I think the US scene needs more unity. And more supporters for more unity. And more unity. And more supporters for more unity......And.....something....

Thats a pretty stupid thing to say i've never been to america but from what i've seen they've got shitloadsa problems with gangs + more guns than over here. Whats your problem anyway you scared of people who wear trackies or somethin?

Would kinda explain why you've got a fascination for a rave scene back in the day that you had nothin to do with and didnt experience, plenty good events on now and you never if ever get any hassle while out.

I love old school last year went to an event called back to 95 + go to every single raindance, there's plenty of people and events still love the old sound. They enjoy themselfs and people in the new hardcore room enjoy themselves everybodys happy, jus dont see your problem with it.

I'm in on that LOL yeh id bring back hardcore from 94-97 maybe a bit of 98 and then I would say 'see I told you hardcore never died'

The first thing would bring back the beats, breaks and kicks from old skool and then get rid of the boring bass lines and the trance melodys and put in some techno, it will happen again some day, just wait LOL

I liked dance/ techno (stuff by 2 Unlimited) when I was about six and seven, and Sunshine after the rain sung by Berri (Produced by Paul Elstak) even in the 90s there was 'chart hardcore'

A few points I would like to make,

1. I wouldnt change hardcore music in anyway. Because of all it's different types suit everyone.

2. I would change the way hardcore is advertised, if that counts?

3. Ryg0r, what is unity?

4. 95_was_the_time, let us hear your music or shut up!

5. Pepper and Olives: Sounds good!

i would leave it

but im just curious i want to know if anyone would want to do anything to make it better the way they like it

i would get rid of that annoying mcing like on hardcore heaven tape packs "can i hear the whistle crew" and like on rankin mega mix 2004 "how low can you go" it ruins good hardcore tunes. (i aye sayin i like rankin just that mix but rankins better then sy)
