My "rants" were not of a negative nature at all. Read it, and it will give perspective of how I feel about it. The topic is about how I would make hardcore better, not slag off other members and producers. I'm not here to slag anyone at all since that does not make hardcore better.

Same reason you bother to post negative rants - you have nothing better to do.

I didn't put any "american religion undertones" in my post. And if this has to do with me being american then you have a whole other vice all together.
I've never put you or any other member down for who they are or where they are from because to me, hardcore knows no nation or boundary of race or anything of that nature. So I'm finished with you and your mates that have nothing but foul things to say to other members and hijacking thoughtful threads with your mean spirited drivel.
have a nice day.

now please reply one more time for me on this forum, i don't want to make enemies, but there's a lot of condescending type talking on these forums from non-newbie members who think they are high on their horses (if that makes sense) i was wrong to say all the 'american' stuff i don't know where that came from so sorry there!... i know you will reply again because i've just written this.
i will (when i have time) read through your rants/advice because i WILL change the scene.

If you want to make '95 happen again here fruityloops.com make something and start a new Old Skool revolution and prove 20,000 hardcore fans wrong and get '95 to come alive again. Back your talk up with some real production I dare you. We have alot of producers and djs on this site that are pushing hardcore forward and your trying to reject it because YOU think it sucks? Just let us see '95 come alive again from the producer 95_was_the_time. I want to see you make a revolution. Don't come here and whine about something unless your doing something to back it up. and talk isn't backing it up.

one more thing, you are american, you don't have chavs and thus any music scene over there wouldn't be considered 'un-cool'/'chavvy' as people assosiate pictures/people with music like butter on bread.

That's the best thing I've read all year! Son, nobody here is high on their horses. The simple fact of the matter is, if you act like a child you will get treated like one.
Now who's "pwn3d"?

Anyone that knows me and has even met me or hung out with me would know that I am not of a condecending nature, and that I enjoy thoughtful and stimulating conversation as much as the next guy. But I do not have any respect for anyone who has nothing better to do with their time then to go out of their way to hurt other peoples feelings and do harm with their words.
If you want to make a difference in the hardcore scene, then at least try to make some friends within our online community. This forum has a very large amount of producers and promoters and dj's that push hardcore beyond the limits of sanity, and if you were to make friends with some of these people, you may in fact find yourself making old skool tracks alot sooner than you realize and pushing the sounds that YOU enjoy.
I feel no ill will towards you as I'm used to the whole, "u.s. doesn't know anything about hardcore" attitude, it's nothing new to me.
I'll reply as often as you'd like, but do not take stabs at me for being who I am, I've been around the block a few times and seen hardcore go from top of the heap to the bottom of the barrell and no, i haven't seen you do anything for it yet.
So, please, read my prior post, it may enlighten you on my perspective. And take note, that I will never attempt to change your mind or ways in any form. When I first joined this forum, I was the same way saying that new style was gay, but guess what, I play upfront hardcore now and kids love it.
But no, I will not attempt to change your mind, so please don't attempt to attack me so I will change mine as it won't happen that easily.
Respect,
Bobby

Some of us are american but it isn't really about that. Yea I saw the one picture of the under 18 hardcore on here with all the pretty boys on the flyer I got it. But maybe people are trying to get the music more mainstream. They are trying to put it out there was a pretty boy contest and it sucks because that isn't what this scene is about. If this scene starts to go that way on a looks instead of music perk then I am gonna fight trying to take it back to the music. In the US hardcore is still extremely underground. There is only really a select few that spin it and everyone still thinks is it heleium vocals, and poorly produced, when in reality it isn't like that anymore. I think we have more of a struggle because it isn't well known and we have to push it towards the door more so people can hear this great scene with quailty producing and it gets you off your a** and makes you wanna dance. Anyone that heard hardcore in the early 90s and didn't like it, already has a bad attitude on what it is and it stick with them.

lets put it this way, hardcore dj's here rarely ever get booked unless they are working together to put on a show as every promoter other than hardcore promoters see hardcore as being shitty cartoon music for pillheads and candy kids. You're absolutly right, hardcore dj's here don't have to worry about chavs, but atleast hardcore dj's in the UK don't get laughed at and denied because their music isn't considered viable for dancefloors.

That is pretty much right. We have to put our own events together and until promoters come and see people dancing to hardcore you will never be booked even if you had the best of mixes sent to them. atleast in the UK they say ok and if no one likes it they don't get put on the bill again. UK djs gets the foot in the door, US djs get the door slammed in their face and then gets punched in the mouth for even asking to do a show.
