haha anyway... as i said earlier, after all the contribution Scott Brown has made to the scene he deserves all the respect he gets. But his music on the other hand is different. He made some stompers but most of his tunes recently have been sounding a bit generic.
Almost like he has a templet he works off of.

Hear, hear tottaly agree with you.

He's made a serious contribution to the scene of course, but theirs no point in not calling a spade a spade in regards to his most recent productions.

All the DJs who were originally quoted to not receive enough recognition in this post are all very well known. I am new to the hardcore scene and they all the main players in the game as far as I am concerned since all the albums I've purchased have their mixes on it. Scott Brown receives more recognition because of the amount of time he's been in the industry, its just natural.

However, a DJ like Bluecore who mixes a range of Candyshop sets deserves more recognition in my opinion, I was listening to V.9 yesterday and it was fantastic! V.10 just made me explode into a wave of happiness!

Although he is only 21 years old, he is as good as some of the more popular guys.

So I wouldn't assume Hixxy or Kevin Energy or even Sy are less popular, I've heard about more of them than Scott Brown, but some of my fav mixes are by Scott Brown, so at least he IS talented!

Well Scott Brwn is a DJ AND a producer, Bluecore is not a producer as far as I know

scott brown, well i personally dont think he is overrated cos, think about it....he djs, produces, record labal, he is just v.good at wot he does.

tho he still doesn't top DJ Vibes + Livelee - True Happy Hardcore! top stuff!
