These days im to old to rave but I can tell you that the birth place was USA but it was perfected by the Scottish. How do I know? Well back in 95 I was working in Scotland, I wasnt even into hardcore but every1 else was. I remember them talking about it and there was always USA vs Scotland events at the reZerection.
P.s Just found this board and Im glad Hardcore didnt die(we always said it wouldnt)! My last rave was the last JUDGEMENT DAY in newcastle and it was announced that nite it was the last ever JUDGEMENT DAY. Many said that was the end of Hardcore in the north of england and it would fade out all over, and they were right, rez had allready closed due to bad gates. But just recently I hear it in ppls cars and of events popping up all over.
So there you go, dont let ppl tell you the scene is finished, its getting bigger and it WILL NEVER DIE
