i want to know how someone recorded it when VCR`s did`nt exist, kind of sure OFCOM did`nt exist either, and nobody back then would exactly monitor live transmissions

They might have recorded it with a 2' Tape. those things where the standard back then till the early 2000's

probably if it was planned, television stations transmit 1 signal to a mast, a "UFO" would have add to over power a mast to intercept and transmit its own signal, and masts don`t send any signals back to the television station, especially with analog tv

now its all digital, and channels run on IP numbers, masts just send back the number of viewers on each mast

the "alien" transmision was only on tv in some parts of the country

then it also depends on what channel it was actually on, the BBC or ITV, ITV was just in the south west, while the north had granada with ITN being the national public paid news

aliens probably exist, not to sure about some federation that is suppose to be 2.5 million years old and still can`t make ships that don`t crash in a storm or shot at with EMP cannon

now humans have actual ray guns

and monster rail guns
