For those of you who don't know Sarah Palin, she was the John McCain's running mate as Vice President for the 2008 presidential election in the US. She's been well known to make some of the most stupidest remarks ever, and here's a short clip of some of her best Palinisms

I think she's dropped out of the race already.
Reading up on her party, there are striking similarities between One Nation and the Tea Party, which is a bit scary considering how completely ignorant the Tea Party is.

Man.... I just saw that YouTube video of Sarah Palin, that was painful to watch. You almost feel bad for her, so ill-prepared to have been running as the vice presidential candidate.
And I read the CNN article,... same feelings.. ha. Painful to watch.

meh. My bet is she has just never been media trained and lost her nerve. Yes, some people are that stupid but those people normally don't try politics.

Wish I could say the same thing for US politicians, but the example I put up there and the last president we had proves otherwise.

no matter who is in power both your sides are at each others throats like rabid dogs, wild rampant paranoia no matter who is pulling the strings :D

This. Palins stance on the Snowden case was spot on. If Palins and Obamas parts were reversed, the opinions wouldn't be (on that issue). Its like you can't win, 'cause the game is fixed.

Also it's worth learning (because it's fair to say that you probably had no idea) that our elections and US elections run completely different. That woman was just standing as a nominee to be a local representative of her constituency. If elected there, she would represent that constituency in federal parliament in votes for passing bills. So there is a significant difference between her case and Palin who was angling for VP. I know I come across as defensive here but I really don't give a shit - Queenslanders are weird.
