Hey all
When I listen to a happy hardcore track, sometimes I wonder where they got their samples. While there are some sites online that have some information for me, I felt like a lot were scattered on too many different sites and most of the time very incomplete.
So, I've been working hard on making one of the most comprehensive lists of happy hardcore songs and the music they sampled. Feel free to share with your friends and also add to the list. The instructions are on the page.

Very impressive list.
Opening that link was like taking a journey through DMS' (slightly warped and certainly very ancient) mind.

is this what tracks that just takes samples from tracks, or does it include covers aswell?
How could you have missed Scott Brown - Elysium, that one samples as few tracks too :)

I did put some covers in there, like Vagabond's "Poisonous" covered Alice Cooper's "Poison". If you want to add covers that is great!

Like I said, this is not a complete list, so please feel free to add to it.
I just saw that Elysium samples The Wiseguys "Oh La La", so I'll add that. Is the melody from Elysium a cover? I didn't think it was.

http://dj-triquatra.com/covers2 this one? the list is on an unusual page at the moment because i've redone my site (http://www.dj-triquatra.com) will fix it at some point so it fits in with the rest of the site its taylored towards cover versions and rip-offs though, not samples or hooks.

its copy and pasted straight from an excel sheet, so it was a matter of a very quick copy/paste. the list was added to very slowly, like 1 track a week, so hardly a vast amount of effort ;)

Liquid - Sweet Harmony samples Joe Smooth - Promised Land danged heavily. Almost a shame that the most classic hardcore track is just a ripoff of an old house track. Maybe a list of original hardcore songs would be shorter lol

What you mean, just basically create the list using the Force & Styles/UK Dance Record label Discography then?!
