Don't worry about the negativity swirling around regarding your retirement X-Cyte, I personally respect your decision and hope all goes well

I don't really understand why so many people are kicking off over this. If someone were to leave the scene and say openly that it was because of 'hardcore' then i'd understand, but when someone suggests personal issues have lead to his decision then you shouldn't just grab your pitchforks, you should say **** all if you don't know what's going on in his personal life. Having said that, I'm sure many people have come about some mega shite and are still taking part in their 'favorite hobby' so if the actual reason were explained to me I would probably just say get over it.
Other than that, any retiring producer is a loss to the scene so I hope you manage to get back into production! (I know how hard it is to start producing after a gap)

It should also be noted that X-Cyte is not leaving because he wants to, this is a decision that has upset him greatly as making music is the favourite hobby he has, however sometimes life deals you a crap hand that forces you to make decisions you may not like.
He would love to come back and start producing hardcore again but due to the 'personal problems' mentioned, he is not sure if this will be able to happen although he has made it clear to me that should the situation change, he will be back in a heartbeat as this is what he truly loves doing.
Samination - If someone says 'personal problems' I think it should be respected. X-Cyte cannot be accused of being in it for the money (as being the label owner I know how much he has made from it), it IS his hobby but he can no longer do it, so just respect that. He has never once said that he hates the music or dislikes the scene, in fact he did an interview on HP.org saying how vibrant he thinks the scene is and how there are a number of talented people coming through. He has reiterated that if he can return to making music, then he will. The 'hardcore' bit was added to point out, that even someone reletively new to the scene who is still up and coming, can be ill treated.
lol.. amen to that.. if your in hardcore for the money you might aswell give up right away and practice on trance or so :)
@ontopic; to bad, although not my really my style he had potentional as becoming a bigger part of the scene.

such a shame that ravers of hardcore seem to dig into a producer who was making music to try and please your needs on the dance floor, i have to say its quite sickening to see ravers digging into a hardcore producer...big or not he still made tunes for the love of the music.
i know x-cyte's reason for leaving Hardcore and i would have done the same in the situation!!
I think this kinda thing shows who are the REAL hardcore ravers/producers and who are not!!
Best wishes to ya kel and big up on the shout and all the help with the Ravers Addition Albums, lets hope this next 1 will do well to give ya a good send off!!!

Anyways. To be bloody honest, If no one would have made this thread on here or on ush, I would never really have notice X-cyte leaving.
X-cyte has allot of friends and fans in the scene, he left a note on facebook simply out of respect for them.
It must be a translation problem for you, because you draw out and highlight the negativity in every post or bit of news.

Hoodzie means he knows the 'personal reasons' because he is a close friend to X-Cyte.
I cant be bothered to keep going over this but surely the fact that HE WILL BE BACK PRODUCING AS SOON AS HE CAN BUT FOR THE FORSEEABLE HE IS UNABLE TO DUE TO PERSONAL ISSUES should be clear enough to anybody to show that the primary reason for this is not a hardcore related one!
Im not posting on this topic again, I cant say it any other way
