Hi
There was a topic about Breakbeat Hardcore some time ago and someone said that the 'harder' BBHC tracks ( which are more like DnB ) usually get signed to DnB labels.
I'm wondering where I could find that kind of stuff, basically I'm looking for something with the beauty of Breakbeat Hardcore ( Piano, Vocals, Melody, blabla ) but that is a bit harder, like Drum & Bass :)

catlikethief: That is D&B
But it kind of eludes to what i was going to write. Breakbeat Hardcore is Hardcore made kind of in a D&B fashion, a homage i guess, wouldn't Breakbeat Hardcore with even more of a D&B edge just be D&B?
Check out Hospital Records for a good mix of Liquid, Tech-Step, Neuro etc D&B. Look for the Liquicity channel on Youtube for some pure Liquid D&B goodness. Brekabeat Hardcore has become a tad stale imo now anyway. It's all simple, boring Reeses and the same octave upward influx at the end of each bar. Better off listening to proper D&B.

Well listen to "4 O'Clock" from Darwin for example, there's not really a kick! It's only like drums if you ask me ( haven't heard the track in a long time anymore so I might be wrong )

Haha right
But yeah it's too old skool sounding :D Not that I don't like Oldskool, but it just wouldn't fit in a mix with new tracks!
I agree on the thing with the vocals, but I have the version of the track with the original vocals, which was not released! They sound almost like in the version you showed me, which btw I already knew :P

Old Skool tracks won't work in a mix with new tunes? I don't see where you're coming from to be honest. I use loads of different styles of tracks, from different eras, genres etc in my mixes and they all work quite well mixed in with one another.
