I think "Hardcore Nation" by Darwin and.. Stu Allan (?) copied the riff from "21st century rush" from Gammer I think. Anyone knows when that 21st century rush tune is going to be released? It's wicked :)

So, Vibes and Livelee - Twisted is a cover of this song?

I hear that a lot about Angels In My Head. It seems to remind people of something, but nobody can ever put their finger on it. I for one can't remember whether it was based off of anything else, but I think it wasn't. Would be fun if someone could finally put their finger on it though! :P
Come take my hand and lead me to the land were dreams come true for me and you in a magical land song it reminds me of at the beginning with the binary voice.

I beg to differ. Hardcore is not any more limited than any other genre. Sure, it follows a similiar pattern, just like all genres follow a pattern that defines their genre, but the possibilities are endless on what an artist can create to go over that pattern. It's whether the mainstream audience will like it or not that's the determining factor in how creative an artist will be.
Perfect description of the way any music scene works. Mainstream likeability will always be a factor in anything that is enjoyed by the public.
On a sidenote, it may not always be down to artists knowing that they've done it. I refer you to a Darren Styles remix of "When I Close My Eyes" by Dougal & Gammer (seen on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHX6NKhZgCo @ 2:16), and a remix I myself did some time ago. It was a cheeky bootleg of Ultrabeat - Pretty Green Eyes (seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ueDozWb4Yyc @ 0:29). I didn't even realise I had made such a similar riff until ages afterwards. So maybe it's that simple? People can be a bit skeptical sometimes.
