just let it die, seriously, aatw will never be able to improve it because improving it means aatw listening to the real hardcore fans, which they never do.

I highly doubt that AATW will let it die, they just bought it. Why would it kill it off right away?

Bonkers 10,11,12 are my all time favorites.
Bonkers 12 B&S CD is really good.
I also really love Bonkers 8 Sy's oldskool mix and Bonkers 13 Hixxy's oldskool mix.
Bonkers 9 I also really liked.. it was when hardcore was transitioning from the super cheese to the super trancey cheese.

I think on the inlay of Bonkers 13 of Sharkey's disc it says something along the line of
'We wont compromise quality for popularity amongst the majority'
I hope that if AATW make another Bonkers, that this statement holds true

thats hixxy's - its on all the raver baby sleeves as well, but thats not what it says
it says
"'Will Not Compromise Quality For Popularity Amongst The Minority"
funny you should bring that up, because whilst i was cleaning my vinyl collection a few days ago (took me over 12 hours in all!!) i came across my raverbaby sleeves and noticed that on it, and got me to thinking about it..
the minority?...

The minority.. i.e. most of the people on the net that talk shit about "commercial" hardcore.

you think the people who whine about commercialised hardcore are the minority?
interesting
i guess it all comes down to your definition of quality, and in this case, minority.
I think alot of people would argue that alot of modern hardcore is compromising quality for popularity amongst the majority

It makes perfect sense though! The people complaining about Raver Baby/HTID/Commercialism are indeed a minority, otherwise that side of Hardcore wouldn't have that much more supporters than the rest to begin with.

However, it makes more sense now than ever it seems. Still, the people complaining are a minority right now, that's for sure.

For the next album line up, would like to see Hixxy, Sharkey & Scott Brown. If not Scott then Brisk.

Yeah... it doesn't make sense to just put random DJs together and make a mix. Generally, the DJs have worked together before in the past. Brisk & Sy makes almost as much sense as Styles & S3RL. It just doesn't work.
With that said, I'd love to hear another Brisk & Ham mix on the next Bonkers, similar to the one on Bonkers 17 (meaning quick edits). Sharkey should do a mix, and it shouldn't matter what he plays, as it will probably be more-than-decent. I'd also like to see Scott Brown or Dougal & Gammer. The latter is probably more likely, as D&G will sell more than SB will. If AATW was willing to take a risk, I could even see a Joey Riot CD on there... He's been producing some bangin' stuff lately.
With all of that said, there are a few things I DO NOT want to see on the next Bonkers CD:
- More shitty pop remixes.
- "Upfront" DJs: we have HU and CoH and whatever other compilation CDs for that.
- Nonsensical DJ combinations.
- Incorrect track titles... I mean, come on...

i do believe that brisk & sy have worked on a bonkers together previously, but i am not sure whether these two have collaborated with each other on one mix. i'll try and c what i find, if not somebody else should know
