Of course you can perfect your DJ skills and send out tons of demos, but
production is really the best way to get noticed. Put out a killer track and you will get DJ gigs from it. Technical DJ skills are secondary in this case, as there are loads of producers who can't mix cereal and milk but still get loads of DJ bookings.

yeh i wanna go in2 producin but i hav neither the equiptment or the money 2 suport myself in doin that. i jus hav 2 decks and a mixer with a bog standard system which only allows me 2 record tapes. although i hav a tone of production ideas
