Yeah, in all seriousness (and in a vague attempt to get the topic back on topic before Grafik gets flamed for his post and MJ gets the mick taken even more lol) what Chwhynny said.
To make your name in anything, be it the Hardcore scene, the industry you work in or whatever, it takes hard work! Put alot of effort in and contribute something. Keep a professional attitude (unless you want your name known for bad reasons!) and just work away at it. Its not an easy thing to do.
Theres many routes you can take to get your name known in the scene. Lots of "jobs" you could say. Production, remixing, engineering, DJing, promoting, management and basically any other service you can think of. Alot of people will say you need talent, but you don't. Just a dedication, and lots of blood, sweat and tears!

Don't be a dick.
to Dj Kule
It doesn't matter what your name is, learn how to dj. Meaning, learn how a dancefloor works, learn how your records or cd's make people react. There is more to Dj'ing than just mixing records. You could be the most technically sound beat mixer in the whole world but if you don't give a shit about your dancefloor or where it's going then you will be a poor and underplayed dj. You also need to create mixtapes or cd's and give them out to about a million people...rinse and repeat. Promote for shows that you are booked to play, meaning hand out flyers. Once you've done that for a while and you begin to get play and are a regular in your scene, then you will become recognized. Ever hear the saying, "Last Night a DJ Saved My Life?" If you ever get a chance to hear someone say that about you, then you've made a difference.
