they don't really care. its my taste at the end of the day. my parents never have been people to critisise who i am and what i choose do to.
My mums boyfriend is a youngun and he used to go raving, he likes the older stuff, he has a few helter skelter and dreamscape tapes stashed away somewhere, hes not so keen on the new stuff... and my mum prefers it to some of the other crap i listen to.

i just rememebered, about 2 years ago, mum was always trying to get me to do some exercises with her that she learnt at her gym, so i made a deal that i would do that, as long as it was to hardcore. And we actually ended up dancing to it haha she was drunk but she loved it!!!

Mine dont seem to bother, i have even got ma 47yr Old dad into a few tracks like HTID By Hixxy, Set you free, and a few more! made him a cd n he plays it in his car! heehee
and ma mum like most just worries when im going ravin! lolol
IMO, it could be worse, like listening to goth sh1t wearing nothing but black n wanting to self harm myself!

Ah... what can I say... I'm too old to care what my mum thinks of it...
It's my life. But she get worried because of all the stories about deaths, drugs, neo's and fights...

My rave friends are cool, and my mom knows them too... My best friend always looks out for me and and she knows this aswell.
My dad is against all forms of music except his own. He once threw my stereo out of the window onto the street while I was playing hardcore cd's...
And then he wonders why I don't like him, go figure...

mine are actually happy i listen to hardcore, before it was metal, all metal. Pretty tasteless stuff now that i look back. but hey, when i move out in a few days their opinion wont matter :)

My parents have never actually mentioned anything about me listening to Hardcore, but they think all forms of dance music is rubbish. My mates are the worse for moaning at me because they think hardcore is all "drum and bass" and only chavs and "pill heads" should listen to that type of music.
That's their reaction from Hardcore Nation CD1 in my car, and Clubland X-Treme hardcore so I wonder what they would think if I played a bit of Scott Brown's and Neophytes Boners 15 mix

I just live with my mum, and she doesn't really like anything apart from Cutting Deep, which makes her cry hehe dodgy women! The neighbours have never liked it for the past 2 years i have been playing it full pelt!

my mums queer bf everytime i have some tunes on opens the door and says will you turn the dj rankin down????? fook know's where he has heard about that twat and why he presumes anything that isnt james blunt and over 10bpm to be dj rankin god only knows.
my step bro who 8 like it and my brother raises his eye brow in some queer fashion when he says me having a little bedroom rave, think my rat likes it tho coz whenever its playing she always goes to the cage door lol
