I don't know if vinyl will ever "die", but it is going to see a drastic drop in production over the next few years (even more so than the last few years).

not afraid to say it's probably on its way out once digital downloads get moving.

atleast on the hardcore bit cause most ppl still calls digital as a inpure source of release (they are still living in the stone age arent they :P)

Personally I can't see digital taking off, not any time soon anyway.

I got a promo of a track from a huge hardcore producer in thirty seconds, lets see if nuenergy.co.uk can send a record to me that fast

doesn't make vinyl invalid, just makes promos alot easier to get. i love the vinyl, but cd's are easier to carry around and you get tunes alot faster

Yea, and some say they can steal a car in 60. But its useless information to the people that are thinking of ways to BUY their car, ya know :p

I'm afraid vinyl is going to slowly die out (very slowly hopefully).
But i'll keep buying it as long as i possibly can.

Exactly for someone like me who juat likes old hardcore then the harder side of todays music they aint any digital downloads or unmixed cd's for me, is all still vinyl.
Only thing is i'm increasingly becoming into the breakbeat stuff so will buy a cdjay when it becomes hard to get all those tracks on vinyl.
