it's already started. Most big name dj's don't even use vinyl anymore.

Depends... vinyl is really hit and miss... big names and labels are selling truck loads, smaller labels are not even breaking even for the most part.

I can remember comments that were made when CDs came out that it was the end of vinyl. There are too many interested parties in producing vinyl and the associate companies like Pansonic/ Newmark etc. There is still a demand there, alhough the price of vinyl might need to increase for it to be vaiable. There hasn't been a real inrease in vinyl for 10 yrs, infact it's reduced.

are you lot ****ing mad??????? vinyls will never die as long as us lot keep buying them, i refuse to use CD deks, they take all the fun away. its all about vinyls, and it always will be!!

yeh im wit that 1. vinyl will neva die in my books. i wasnt put here 2 mix wit a couple of cds. na, vinyl have the full control and movement u want wen doin a mix. i will buy 2 da end. any1 wit me?

yeh. maybe we shud start a commitee. lol. im completly against cds. they r only gud for 3 things: lookin at, breaking and puttin on ur wall. admitidly, i hav most hardcore on cds n i wanna record on2 cd, but thats a different story. vinyl r stayin. they will neva die. they tried replacin vinyl with tapeswen they came out. has that worked? no. n now cds, na.
