ok ppl a number of things:
1. what the hells happened to WOW! what a rush 10? apparently it was due for a october release but i havent seen it around yet. plus, there doesnt even seem to be a website for it, or just another label, or RFU recordings!?
2. i dont see why we dont have an increase in artist albums. sharkey did it over 6 years ago, scott browns doing it. personally i think VAGABOND shuld do it, his stuff is feckin class! and definately under his euphoria alias!!
3. i agree wit what ppl are saying about hardcore not being recognised and underrated. ive played hardcore at my parties and everyone (ppl who have never heard it b4) is up and dancing! plus i took a mate of mine to a rave, her first time. she frickin loved it! hardcore til i die! :D

Artist albums, imo would be great. But I hate it when it becomes another best-of mix album. Perhaps they dont do them any more because the majority of ravers aren't really that opened minded.
Who would by a breaks cd from Scott Brown? Or a hiphop album from Impact? I guess they dont have big enough names outside the hardcore scene to warrant an artist album.

I would of thought releasing a cd would bring in more money then announcing and signing a dozen tracks for vinyl *shrugs*
Even stores didnt sell them well, you could always do like Dj error did, and just list them yourself on ebay and sell a few dozen of leftovers
Doesnt seem that finacially smart
Oh well, Eumovater you can always buy hardcore reunited or tunez 3 if you havnt yet
both full of upcomers

It was delayed, immediately after the crushing blow of the Hardcore Nation 2 tracklist.
In fact it was hovering precariously close to "cancelled", despite the CDs & artwork being ready-to-go, right up until I saw the Bonkers 15 tracklist.
So.... it's back on again. I shall set a new date, imminently, and RTM.
If WOW10 flops, that's almost certainly the end of RFU Recordingz. Word of mouth is going to be critical, and I think I can safely say that part of the very future of hardcore is at stake here.
As for the websites, www.rfurecordingz.co.uk will be relaunched soon. There are no immediate plans for a JAL website, altho I suspect early next year we'll start thinking about it.

I would have to agree with master Cdjay. There is so much talent that would be show cased on WOW10 and so many awesome tracks.
I think marketing is the key here. If Britney Spears can sell millions albums, surely WOW10 can do a few.

I don't understand that
Basically, the lack of JAL/RFU tunes being included on the major hardcore albums meant that the release of WOW10 would more than likely be a waste of time due to the lack of exposure the tunes received.
Just wish people could be a bit more willing to include the smaller artists/labels when considering what they buy/play

I want it NOW!!! I am a bit bored with the old compilations... It would surely worth the financial risk of releasing! WE WANT NEW TALENTS NOW!!!! Don't you just agree mates?! According to the other works of these talents this comp would be another big milestone in hardcore...

I said this when 'WOW 10' was first announced and I'll say it again,
I don't normally buy CDs but I'll be buying this.
So....
....what if everyone on here who wants it, pre-pays for a copy?
Then, if there are enough of us, it can be put into production.
Well? ........why not?
do you no what i would, got the sets from when they did there show on puredance and music is really nice. I dont listen to upfront much anymore but would be excellent to have some tunes that aint exactly like everything else and aint been played to death at raves.

i thought tht bulby world war 10 lol.
ermm wow 10.....i was well up for this album in summer and i think i commented on the tracklist a few weeks ago but on closer inspection of the cd i think its a tad darwin overload.......im all for the newbies ESPECIALLY darwin after hearing his stuff 'wow indeed' but theres not a massive amount of variation compared to other albums.......id still buy it i reckon but i think it could be more apealing than it is.
but everyone else seems to be very excited so i wish all the best to rfu and the cd..........
