Out of all the shit music out there you pick a subgenera of hardcore. Seeing as how electronic music is some of the most expressive music out there right now why would you want to remove an entire class of it? If somebody wants to judge a book by its cover thats their problem IMO. I couldn't give a stuff. I like what I like, and I am what I am. If somebody doesn't like that, or thinks of me as a "nursery kid" then they're not worth bothering about.
