easily done mate.
we can conclude it here and have everyone agree to one idea, or make a new thread for it, or a poll.
but let the mods decide if they want somthing like this to be done first, then we can decide which idea to take :)

Hello all!
test week over, and I couldn't resist coming back here  . Missed you all
I've seen that reputation thing on other forums, might work.
As for people who post "useless" topics/posts, from now on I will ignore them, and still stay here =)
Still, the reputation thing wouldn't stop some people from trolling...
And I'd say keep the post count, cause then you can see who has been here longer (okay, one can also see on the Joined date thingy...)
Wasn't away that long, was I?

Reputation only works for people that actually care about it, so person with a good reputation is not gonna go on a posting ramage but a new user that has no reputation and does not care about it will... so reputation does not do anything I'm sorry to say :s

i didnt read whole thread, but i couldnt help read pass lucy's post. that's from DI.fm forum right? personally i think that reputation sistem is bullcrap. why? if you were paying attention on DI forum, you could see the people who were the longest on forums had highest reputation count, and not just because they wrote good posts, but mainly cos people liked them. for example, djGT. he posts such useless crap here and there, but still he had highest reputation, and even when they restarted it, he had about 170 points in matter of days. if he wrote "hahaha look at this pic :D" everyone agreed with him and gave him maximum points. you get 1 point for every 15 votes or so.
in my opinion reputation sistem is not needed here. you all know almost everyone here, and have your own opinion about everyone. ;p
you dont need to comment privatly his posts, you can just reply in the thread or PM him.............................................................................
for the lazy ones:
dont make this reputation system crap on this forum!
