a buddy of mine was telling me about that thing called gabber. Said its related and such to hardcore and i'd like if if i like this. Anyone got and sample or a better definition of what it really is?

Check out artists such as Scott Brown, Evil Activities, The Playah & The Viper. I'm sure someone can explain fully, what Gabber is.

I really like that one Vince remix...I think its called, Outblast - Fu*k what you heard (Vince Remix) and um I dunno, alot of old neophyte is blegh... get a cd called The Ultimate Nightmare. Excellent cd!!! ummm Nosferatu is great :D oh, and not to mention Lenny Dee. That guy is amazing imo.

impossible to summerise gabber in all it's glory in a few lines so I'm not gonna bother.
If ur looking for mainstream gabber then try ppl like:
tommyknocker, art of fighters, dione, Rotterdam terror corps, buzz fuzz and so on
my opinion: in gabber there is only one thing that u must take from me, older is usually better, but not nececarily harder.
darkcore (darker gabber) try: anyone on the enzyme label (including the K7 and X label), DNA records, some stuff by face hoover and so on
doomcore (stuck most to it's roots and si a bit like darkcore but more "to the point"): stuff by fifth era, other face hoover shit n if u browse around phuture rave then u should be able to find lots more.
if u want harder or faster then try terror (terrorcore), speedcore or extratone (warning: extratone is deff not easy listening)

ther is so many wierd sub genres names in gabba...most of them dont really excist ...some kids just take gabber and make it a 'bit' different and make there own name for it and put on the internett! another one is sexcore (gabber with samples from porn movies) LOL

You could just skip gabber and go strait to DNB. Altough I think DNB and Gabber are close cousins or something. It all grows on you. You'll see...
