if you mean both of the generes use hoovers, then yes they are related
hardcore and drum & bass are closely related...only one went 4/4 and the other stuck with breakbeats. mix together quiet nicely, imo it's boring to stick with only kicks or only breaks.

Breaks are better on there own. A 4/4 kick can be a little dull on its own

now that is the ultimate party music (the harsh shit anyway)
dnb is cool for a warmup or to put an edge on a set but too much dnb is a bit boring imo

I wish I had more money to spend on compilations/vinyl so I could explore gabber more heh. Gabber is like a whole nother world...
Had a bit of breakcore and I must say it's totally wicked. I dont attend raves but I can totally see why you'd have to dance to it ;)

i love gabba big tym!!check out some rotterdam terror corps!or there was these old vinyls i used to have with trolls on the front they were pretty cool but some gabber can get a bit evil!i remember this one tune i(i think it sampled a film im not sure) it was sayin "i killed my girlfriend i killed another guy with a nail gun" something like that and then started a pretty freak u out high pichted tune it was good but that was a bit psyco lol!!

Bahh please no RTC they are suck so much, listen to the new mainstyle sounds ala Art of Fighters, Re-Style, Weapon-X, .....they sound pretty cool but not RTC!

The samples is from american psycho and the track is Paul elstak - I Had To Kill A Lot Of People but the Nosferatu remix is so much better then the original ;)

seriosly do u not like rtc i have 2 admit some of there tunes are a bit toss but wot about god is a gabber,pshcitsophrenic (i cant spell), gabber baby!there is a few tunes!and tar for tellin me the name of that track and il check ut the other people you sed about.

GABBER puts the hard in hardcore! Its my fav tipe of hardcore but you cant beet a bit of cheeeeze now and then! If you want to know what it is then bye a bonkers cd from about bonkers 11 onwards and play the scott brown cd! The last few tracks are real gabber!!

it's really weird to see ppl not really know what gabba is, alot of the raves we have in sydney OZ have atleast 1 or 2 gabba dj's playing sets now
and there are also gabba/hardstyle only raves now also....
if u want a example of a decent gabba track try and find
braincrackin (i'm not sure of the artist tho)
