They have done a new mix for most HH classics but nothing for Toy Town which surprises me. I thought there would of been something by now. If its not in the works I feel its only a matter of time.
I thought something like a dance mix for clubland or something would of been done by now. Just wondering why not yet.

How can u even suggest that! Since shooting star and heart of gold where done on clubland, we've seen so many classic tracks get murdered by scouse house. Toytown is my favourite HH track of all time. If it ended up on clubland and being played at commercial scouse house clubs, i would see my arse big time!

Oddly enough....I've never seen the fasination of Toy Town myself...A lot of better tunes around... But hey, that's my opinion.

I love the original Toytown, I dunno if I would want to see it remixed now, even if it is hardcore. Dougal recently played a new mix of Party Time though which was pretty awesome, so it might be good

Liked the original when it first came out but got bored wi it quite quickly cant say i'd enjoy a new mix of it tbh.

toytown was remixed in 2004
I dont know who by its on white label ive got it so i definatley know it was remixed.
The start of the main part of the tune is the original toytown melody with no chords... then it kicks into a new melody which is the original one but new keys, its hard to explain... the copy i got had no writing anywhere on the vinyl whatsoever i had to write on it so i know what it is.
I can prove nothing, appreciated but im just lettin u kno that a remix was created in 2004.
I feel sorry for people who say toytown is a crap tune because it just goes to show they are new to the scene because toytown is a definative tune created by hardcore masters. The remix is made from the new trancy sounds of hardcore but still carries the original happy hardcore vibe.
Dont diss toytown, it helped shape hardcore you listen to today. Granted, you havent known about hardcore for long but you cant just jump into the whole scene and start slaggin off old skool tunes just because they sound different to ones you hear today. You get me??

Why do you assume that because they don't like toytown, they havn't been in the hardcore scene that long?
