Anyway..... back to the topic at hand.
I really want hardcore to go mainstream to give more artist exposure and to make the scene bigger than ever, but at the same time I think hardcore should stay in the little box that it always has done. (if ya know whot I mean)
TIME TRAVELLERS, DAY TRIPPERS AND NIGHT OWLS COME FORTH. CONGREGATE AND CELEBRATE WITH US. HELTER SKELTER!!!

But in america, on TV, a remix of a hardcore tune, that unsettles me a bit.
Of course my feeling of this is based off my opinion of hardcore turning mainstream.
That is all.
Well, in this case the fact that its originally a Hardcore tune dosn't matter, because that version isn't Hardcore, it's just a highly commercial Trance tune and is only being played for that reason, it's totally unrelated to Hardcore, so i wouldn't worry about it :)

Give America something popular...and EVERYONE wants a piece of it. I cant wait til i start seeing Mcdonalds or K-mart commercials with hardcore in the background.... *sigh*

hardcore certainly seems to be going mainstream, which in the long run will probably be bad for the scene. If it becomes popular with the masses, it will soon fade again and hardcore could end up dying right down again like it did in the late 90's.
what I don't like to see is all these hardcore remixes of dance and trance tunes, like on the forthcoming cd clubland extreme hardcore. This is only done to make hardcore appeal to the regular clubland listeners

The Clubland album is made for the clubland listeners, it is a commercial release and they have no responsibility to make it more 'hardcore' just for us
