The only way i see hardcore going mainstream is if the artists start making music videos for their tracks, if they don't i think we are pretty safe!
hardcore might start to be played on the radio alot more if anything, but i can live with that!

The is for the American side for the most part.
I don't understand why you all don't want Hardcore to go mainstream? I think that Electronic music as a whole is the best muisc on the planet and it is the future. Most people in American espeacialy Hip Hoppers think that Electronic muisc is music that only gay of weird people listen too (mostly gay). My 10yo nephew love Trance and Hardcore and told me that when he went to school and told his friends that he like Electronic muisc they told him that he was gay and listens to gay music. He ask me about that and I told him that that wasn't true, other people think that it's annoying. Here in the states the only time you here electronic muisc is on commericals, on gay t.v shows, or they may show a scean on a cop show of cops going in a rave (with the wost Techno or house song ever playing) to stop them from doing drugs. I think that it is wrong the way they view our culture. Insted of keeping the muisc down we need to build it up and show the world that we are the future and our culture is better than any other and our girls are even sexier. I'm sick of hearing Brittney and 50cent and that Crunk shit (they think Crunk is some new ****ing sound it's out music turned into hip hop and they take all the criedt). The underground sould be the mainstream and I belive that if you truelly love you muisc you'll never get tried of it. I'm sorry but I can't see 50cent music being played in 2054 not unless it's some sort of Electronic muisc but lets not let them take all the credit and make it popular we should becuse it's our music. electronic music is the future no matter how any of you see it but don't let other people make it popular becuase then that really would make the music suck cause it would be thier way, lets make it our way.

i bet not everyone here knows that alot of the "underground" hardcore bigwigs have to make commercial pop songs so that they can make some money huh. Newbies don't want hardcore to go commercial, but the problem is, is that you more than likely heard hardcore for your first time on Happy2BHardcore (in usa that is, this isn't about the UK crowd) Which is....guess what, a commercial release. The fact of the matter is, is that Dj'ing for most is a part time job because hardcore doesn't pay the bills. I don't see anything wrong with a "superstar" hardcore dj. Crucify me for saying this, but it's about damn time that hardcore is getting big. More money equals more releases. Bigger parties, more cd's, tighter t-shirts. Everything. Get over it about the "underground". Try feeding your kids nothing because you have to be to cool to be "hardcore" There is nothing wrong with making money. Sell out for all I care. Hardcore has been around for so long that it's about time it gets some positive exposure. Most of you on here haven't been in the hardcore scene long enough to remember when if you told people that you were a happy hardcore dj then you can F*ck off because you played that crap. Now hardcore is bigtime and it's well recieved.

True, I heard my first happy hardcore on a Happy2BHardcore, but that's not where it began. That's when I knew it was hardcore.
Originally I played DDR, and I found stepfiles for the emulator, StepMania, online.
Udderdude had made over 300 stepfiles, around 10 of them being hardcore. Without knowing it was hardcore, I fell in love with Brisk & Vinylgroover's

Pls, its not that long and I was just tring to get my point across and if u wanna hate me for that them that's just to bad. I felt that it was something that just needed to be said to those who want our music to stay underground and never be seen for what it really is GREAT and POWERFUL!!!
