hey i was wondering compared to all our dj's how good are the rest that are out there around the world. im excluding the superstar dj's but am talking about the not so well known ones that play at events.
ii havent heard 2 many none famous dj's but i noticed that the hhc dj's kick ass.
i didnt think so before but i changed my mind.

new guy, jsut got into the scene. So right now i judge music on addictivnes. And here, its like the drugs. i can't get enough and when i have gotten enough its rapture!

To be honest, hhc dj's are nothing special (technically). The big dj's mainly get booked because they will have more upfront stuff. I mean, don't get me wrong, they are good dj's, but they dont exactly push the boundries, its just the same tune to tune mixing. Im sorry if anyone is offended by this but hhc dj's sound boring (the style anyway - i love the tunes!) compared to spanish dj's. BCN style all the way baby.

i cant help feel that if anyone had as much experience as djs such as dougal, styles, sy etc or had a lucky break ne body could be the other side of the dekcs at a rave. I dont think they are nefing special they just got recognised where as other dont.
dont get me wrong i still love em, the music and the raves, they put on a hell of a show.

id love to see more technical ability in hardcore DJs. . more scratching etc, playing around with tracks...
at the moment its pretty much beatmatching and not making it sound shit, theres no real 'competition' between DJs to prove they can go beyond this. (well . .there are SOME but not many)

with oldskool and breakbeat happy hardcore, it was easier to fiddle around with tracks as they weren't as songlike, not it's not so easy. it can still be done though, just doesn't sound as good

myers, milo, apollo, comet, silver .. theyre all very good, silver especially methinks
bluecore i just heard one mix of.. but his style is off the hook! he hasnt perfected his DJ'ing skills yet but he's gonna have a bright future I think
oh yea, and dont forget DJ Scorch, he finally brought some nice scratching onto this station
