To many people want everything for free.Took me alot of money to get all my vinyl and decks and such.If you want to hear a set or mix from any dj buy his stuff or buy a ticket to 1 of the events they are at.

Thats pointless comment, they spend so much time on what they do, not to just give it out to people that want free stuff. If you want free stuff then go get a lotery ticket and hope you get lucky.

ofcourse, money rules the world, but why doesn't people on the high street do something like Lee UHF and Sunrize did 2 months ago? give a track or 2 out for free. It's not a bloody big deal, both tracks are sold anyways so they still make money on it.
Heck, what how big of a deal is it to release 1 or 2 tracks free for download once a year? Just look at all of these people posting therr homemade tracks here. Most of them are good, and most of the posters are alot more poorer than Scott Brown, should they take payment? no because they make music for people to listen. THATS THE BLODDY PHILOSOPHY OF MUSIC, will be and always will. But hey, what can I say, a fat american started making money on black people singing, just shows how materialistic n pathetic we humans are
dont get me wrong, i buy my hardcore, but I think people could start re-releasing stuff again (either free or for payment)

well, it's important to consider that this is also how he makes a living. few djs can survive off the tracks they make and bookings. and to beat back the 'they make a ton of money" most of that is reinvested in buying equipment and saving for the rest of their lives.
however, as someone already pointed out, there are a ton of live mixes from magna 7 on the next gen site, well worth the listen

it would be nice if the big namers were to give away a free track here and there,but it's not gonna cost you much if they dont - at the most a fiver a single?
i'm not going to give away how much mr brown made on new years eve - lets just say it went in to 4 figures - and at that rate it's not like they cant afford to give away at least one single. its their choice if they do or not though and although it would be nice,it should never be expected from producers as high up in the scene as that
