TIMESREACH. Literally taking the audio sample & altering it's duration.
We use Logic or Cubase software on a Mac but there is plenty of stuff out there that does the same thing. It also helps if you 'Pitchshift' the sample as well. ie; make it higher or
lower in pitch. The same software will do this.
As for effects, a Reverb, like Hall etc or a Delay (echo) will make an massive difference.
We'll try and email you an example of this.

Ah I understand, you mean to change the duration or add some effects to the vocals. I will try it!
But I think I wont change the "highness" (i hope this is an english word :) of the vocals cause then I sound like a smurf or like a demon :)
I always used Steinberg Wavelab for things like that, although I didnt use it for this song yet. Ill see what I can do.

Yay! I think the vocals now sound really cool. I added a chorus effect, a little bit of a hall effect and another strange effect, I can't remember the name.
Now it sounds like I sing through a megaphone :D
I also added some beats and melodic stuff. I hope you like it.

If you don't object here are a few more observations on your latest mix which is a
noticable improvement.
If you can tighten up the timing of the vocals they would be more effective &
try playing around with the EQ on them as well.
The 'Piano' sound & the riff that follows it could also do with a reverb on one & a delay
on the other, your choice, as well as panning them in the sterio field. Double check
the timing of these as they don't sound spot on. Timing is Everything.
