I've always wondered what Hardcore will be like without the DJs we all know and love. Who will fly the flag for Hardcore when the likes of Sy, Hixxy, Scott Brown & Breeze & Styles retire from Hardcore? Hardcore will never be the same without todays Hardcore DJs.

Well Im 35 years old and still love it! I have found though most of old raving (is that a word I can still use?) friends have long since left the scene but I guess they where just in it for the drugs! Once you have a true love for a type of music I dont think you can let it go... can you??
You just carnt beat that rush from a bangin tune!

If you have 40-50 year olds going to black sabbath gigs n stuff what stops 40-50 year old listening and raving to hardcore.

No way r u to old! Am 28 and have been listening to happyhardcore for 15 years or more. Like that tune says 'Hardcore till i die'. I cant stand any other music and i think that it's for any age. It's a good mood tonic as i listen to it everyday and keep buying the cd's. Even though i av 3 kiddies am still 'Young at heart' 'I'll be happy till the day i die'.

i still have seen not one person has really mentioned (although some people have gone close) that hardcore isn't really about the music, it is the feelings you get from listening to it (to me anyways)

I thought the same, that I was getting too old - that's the wrong attitude. Stick with what you like and what you know. Just because all your mates have stopped listening, doesn't mean you have to.
