Hardcore would never make it to Number 1... The public are all pop/rap loving morons... You can prove this by looking at the Clubland CD's. You get some really good tracks on them like Rezonance Q - Sweetheart (it sounds ok if you speed it up on the Windows Media Player) Scott Brown - I Would Stay ( ) and then you get tracks from the likes of the "Sugababes" (Salt-mingers) and Kylie Minogue??? WTF?! so if you can get mixes like that that people actually buy, then we have a very weird public.
Besides, there have been some *cough* good dance tunes *cough* out in recent years that haven't made it to the top, eg. Ian Van Dahl - Will I, Try & I Can't Let You Go and Ultrabeat's stuff... And if those dont make it to the top then what chance does a high-speed Hardcore tune have??

What do you mean hardcore won't ever be at no. 1?
Did we all forget about Technohead's "I wanna be a hippy" not that long ago? Before that we had the likes of Baby D and a few others. Anything's possible -particularly in the UK because at the end of the day some of the dodgiest shite on the planet gets to number 1.
All I'm going to say is with the right tune and the right timing, hardcore CAN be back at the top. It's happened before...... Personally, I think the only guys who could have done it previously would have been Force and Styles, but now my money is on the CLSM.
Back to the original point - my selections are:
CLSM - John Peel
CLSM - Transmission to Mars
Darren Styles - Skydivin'

Yes, but that was more oldskool, and didn't have a kick drum of 160BPM+
A track with a kick drum that is as fast as hardcore, will never reach number 1 in the UK in my honest oppinion!

Errm..... they are released - that's how you're able to buy them. If enough people bought them then they would get to no.1 in the charts!
