Someone who was widely recognised as suffering with poor mental health has died, so its related to that. Dont be a twat.

Samitation has always been a twat. What kind of person tries to have a petty dig on a forum post where some poor fella has lost his life.

Who knows maybe it was a bit insensitive of me i was just in shock at the time and as someone pointed out it's not uncommon to ask these questions. As a hardcore producer myself I've always looked at Squad-E as an inspiration and i can proudly say I've never said anything bad or negative about him..... Unlike some of the people on this forum.

Indeed. If you go back to previous topics in this forum you will find Samination writing comments about Squad-E 'being a pensioner' and 'not likely to hold down a job'.

I am incredibly upset

So many of my favourites were made by him. He leaked even more favourites I never thought I would ever have. Never thought an artist dying would feel this painful.
Very hard listening to his music.

Anyone care to share a favourite Squad-e set?

For me it has to be HTID 33 Custard Factory, Squad-e and Storm...probably at his peak at that point.

Exceptionally sad news. My thoughts and sympathy go out to his friends and family.

His music brought me a lot of joy and it will for years to come.

RIP.

May he rest in peace.

In honor, I'm doing three of his tracks in my BODYCOMBAT class tonight as quite a few of them have been licensed for the program over the years. Probably Sweetheart, Holdin On Right Now and What Do You Want From Me. <3

Yeah sad news indeed, he definently made a few bangers in his time, my personal fav probably being my direction, that I had the privilege of hearing live 1 time at a rave.

RIP SQUAD-E

Yeah this is so sad, I grew up listening to Happy Hardcore, I'm 37 and still listen to it now. He will be so sadly missed, but his music will be here forever!

If all the snowflakes in the replies want to know how Wayne died, I believe he took his own life. He had been suffering from depression for some time, and I think lockdown made it worse for him. Hopefully that answers that question.

Why the snowflake remark?

People want to know what happened to such a legend but moreso, if it is mental health related, it's entirely up to the next of kin but it helps everyone and in his memory to at least try and use the sad loss to get try and say about opening up about MH.

By the last X amount of time with Squad-e alive, it did appear he was suffering mentally. Been there myself with that and I know it's a total shitter with services.

It's a tight knit scene. Artists in core mostly aren't god like figures hiding behind security, they'll engage with ravers.

i own this youtube page and made it dedicated to hardcore because of how much i loved the music growing up as a kid.
this is one of my personal favorites by Squad-E
