So many people I know right now who are struggling badly right now because of the lockdown, myself included. People that were already vulnerable are suffering the worst. An absolutely disgrace how this pandemic has been dealt with. I fear we are only seeing the start of it as the effects will be felt for years and years to come.

Agreed.
People might not agree with me here, but the sooner people realise that this virus isnt going away and that these lockdowns only make things worse in the long run, the sooner we can open back up.
This virus will probably be seasonal like Flu, and some people unfortunately who get the flu vaccine still die. And the same will probably happen with the Covid vaccines.

Really sad news, I hadn't talked to him in over 10 years, but was a big talent in production. I can only guess to the how and why.

Really sad. So many of the most talented of this world pass way too young. Condolences to his family & friends. This lockdown has been so tough on the entertainment industry and taken it's toll on a lot of people.
All time fave..

The guy has passed away and you want to know to know what happened ?
What difference will it make to you how he died ?
It makes a big difference to his nearest and dearest, everyone is assuming he's killed himself, because his mental health struggles are well known, but he could have died in a car crash or anything.
I don't know the guy or know much about him but I know that he was showing bad signs of mental suffering and I instantly assumed the worst when I heard he died.
As was said , this lockdown is starting to get to everyone I see it all around me, I feel it myself. The mental health backlash of this whole year is going to be felt longer than the virus itself.
Regardless of your political feelings, Boris is right in saying, lets reopen slowly and get it right, then this is the last lockdown, because this whole thing is just potentially the tip of the iceberg.
There is not enough support for anyone, its tragic tbh

The sad thing is they could open up today and people will still be affected for years to come. This has changed people for the worse and the damage is now done. The whole strategy of locking down has been a disaster from the start, for what is a minor virus (relatively speaking). Young people are paying the highest price and the worst part is that there is **** all evidence to show that it even worked - countries and regions that didnt have full lockdowns are not seeing worse death rates that places that did.
I dont know much about what Squad-e did for a living in recent years or if he was still playing out regularly before covid. But for someone like him who was clearly suffering with mental health problems this must have been a huge problem.
The first lockdown was a breeze compared to this latest one all through winter. I think when we look back on this period in a decade or so, most people around the world will be able to realise that it was a massive ****-up.

Yeah exactly the last one has been by far worse, at least in the warmer months last Spring, beginning of summer, it was more bareable.
SAD is hard enough for us all when the nights draw in and the weather changes, but throw in a lockdown on top ?
And yeah you are right about the models of countries like Sweden too, didn't lock down and didn't suffer, and Taiwan, they hardly had any deaths, its all political and thats not right.

After I made a tasteless comment over on discord, I never thought it would be topped up by going back to the lockdown discussions over here...
if you can't keep politics out of the forum... at least use the appropriate subforums and threads for it...

Someone who was widely recognised as suffering with poor mental health has died, so its related to that. Dont be a twat.

It's very sad that Squad-E has passed away. My thoughts are with his family and friends.
Important to point out that there's a lot of assumptions about how and why, and I've not seen a statement that's clarified it, so we should be conscious of that when discussing the difficulties he had with his mental health.
However, since it was a struggle he had, and it would have been doubtlessly exacerbated by the lockdown, it should be made clear that anyone else who is really finding this year hard should reach out to friends, family or a charity like Samaritans that can help lift the burden.
Squad-E was an iconic producer whose music defined Hardcore at a time the whole scene needed a new big name to drive it forward. His contributions to the HTID compilations proved that he was talented enough to carry the baton forward at a time the smaller genre industries were straining amidst changes across the wider industry.

Samitation if your having a go at me you can go f##k yourself. Your a loser and a no hoper, not to mention a very crap DJ that will never ever go anywhere. (Time has proved that anyway)
Me mentioning the lockdown has nothing to do with politics. I never said it was right or wrong. All I said is it has been very tough on a lot of people. Learn to read English properly you stupid twat.
What is tasteless about that? A poor guy has lost his life and your carrying on on like the usual dickhead.
