Old Skool Euphoria’s First Birthday -29th October
Relive The Dream. Enjoy The Music. Celebrate the Moment
Grab your shiniest whistle, load up your horns and get ready for Old Skool Euphoria’s First Birthday. Once again it returns to its adopted home, The Fridge in Brixton. Boasting a word-class sound and lighting system, and with a history steeped in rave legend is provides the perfect backdrop for a night of retro-celebration.
In true birthday spirit it’s pulling out all the stops. Back-in-the-day legend Liquid (Eamon Downes) will be making a live personal appearance performing the early rave anthem ‘Sweet Harmony’ – the piano classic ripped up the floors of the early warehouse parties, outdoor raves at the time finally gaining its place in the UK charts. Today it still receives the same instant reaction as it did back then.
Returning to the main floor by popular demand are dance music founding fathers Ratpack and Slipmatt. If there was an Olympic Sport for rave culture then these guys would be gold medal record holders. They will be joined by fellow dance scene pioneer, Billy Daniel Bunter. Completing the main room action are PK and Devious Dave ably assisted MCs Charlie, Spenno and Chit Chat.
For the first time ever the second room will also be given over to the very popular Old Skool Drum ‘N Bass. Enter the room and you’ll be transported back to days when reggae beats and sped-up hip hop vocals infiltrated early rave tracks and the junglist movement was born. Guiding you on your DnB trip are Kenny Ken, Swaine, Slam, Roger Sniper, Evo and MC 3Flow.
Whatever your musical persuasion come to Old Skool Euphoria , shout ‘Oi Oi’ at the top of your voice and revel in the music and people who created the musical revolution which changed our world forever.

It is a place where as the clock strikes 12 and the witching hour is upon us, we shall drag the best costumes from the flaming pit and parade their last vestiges of tattered humanity for all to see. We shall judge who shall ascend to world of bliss and who shall be cast down into damnation. If thee is deemed to be worthy and be dressed as the best in your category, ye shall trade your soul for CASH and VIP (Vile Inbred Paragon) access to ALL Destiny & TR events (including WEMF) for one turn of the calendar year. As the night grows later and the blood red moon is upon us once more, our witches and warlocks will cast their evil magic about the room and turn all clocks back one hour.
