Okay, i have 7 vinyls, so obviously i'm not a DJ.
I tryed to record them to MD, with my cheapest-on-market Sony turntable. But the sound quality was crap. I mean really crap, it sounded like the rec level was way too high, but the rec level was set to "automatic" so it cant be that, anybody know what the problem can be? Can it be static electricity?
Coz i dont have those brushes they use on vinyl...

Sounds like you plugged the turntable directly into the MD or in a Line in, you need to plug the turntable into a Phono input.

No thats not it, coz theres a switch in the turntable that allowes me to plug it to "regular" inputs...
btw, just realised that you have exactly 500 records, i guess your now an uber advanced admin...

I have many many more than 500 I just don't have the major time to enter them into the DB.

Have you plugged it into the phono input and not switched it the deck to phono output?
This would mean the sound being amplified twice and a possible reason for
distortion.
If it was a case of plugging it into a normal line with the deck set to phono out then you'd just get no sound.
