It seems like it just decided to get some reverb built-in. Whats with that??
How the heck do I fix it? Its getting really annoying.

The SB Live! has reverb built in to the card, as well as chorus, flange, etc. Go to your Surround Mixer (on your start menu under Creative>Sound Blaster Live!) and go to the EAX tab. EAX is their environment modelling technology which actually sounds quite nice but is faulty in the sense that it sporadically turns itself on and off. Under audio effect, make sure it's set to no effect.

Yeah, mic is off.
Kaffine I didn't install the dirty dirty EAX menu crap. Its first off, so dirty, and second off all I didn't like it.
I just installed the drivers.
But....The problem was that my "amp" (the stereo I plug my computer into) had some DSP thingo on. Boy I feel like a goose.
