Lol, yeah you're thinking about someone completely different. James Venus is from Brighton according to discogs. If he was born in 1979 which makes him 32 now, he was only 20 when he made Rainbow Tune & Heaven!
Rainbow Tune is/was brilliant! I still have it and still play it. James Venus is a Brightonian just like me as well, what a guy! I'll never forget the first time I ever heard mario music in a hardcore tune, I wish he carried on making music.

Hi,
came across this old post and thought it could do with a reply as it never got one (10 years is nothing to me now anyways lol)
To the OP (Alex_In_Wonderland) hey bro,
Sadly, none of the tracks were ever released on vinyl (except for the Slammin album: Absolute Hardcore, which was on vinyl aswell as CD)
All my stuff was exclusive to DJ Vibes and hence everything I released on CD was on his mixes on the albums (11 in all) (all details are on Discogs)
Ah, no I never went under "James Dalton" - that is someone else :)
I did however go under: Venus, James Venus, 24 Carat and V-Jam
Cheers,
James
