Fruityloops CAN belt out a decent sounding track, I guarantee it. :) It's a matter, though, of frustration to get it to do so. The sound engine for working on the track is much different from that used to mixdown the final copy of the track, therefore you must export to a wav, listen through the track, make your changes, and repeat, over and over and over, until you achieve the sound you wish to achieve.

For all aspects other than that though, it's just as good as any other music production package. Spend some quality time with it, see what you get from it.

turns out reason is crap dispite all these ppl swearing by it.

i think its pretty obvious even withought this info

u cant use vst in reason. plz. ppl

That is not true. Using rewire you can link reason to Cubase and sync their MIDI clocks as well as channel Reason's output in to cubase's mixer. Then you can use reason in conjunction with VSTis.
