The East Coast of the United States has it pretty rough for happy hardcore fans. Most events are out in the west coast and when the east coast even gets some hard dance shows its 21+... Really sucks for people who are not 21 like myself. I really wanna to try to start something out in New York. Thoughts?

Don't expect much from this page. The people you need are likely not here.
Else network with any kind of local dance music enthusiasts that are open minded if there are no HHC ppl around you.

I'm lucky enough to have Nobody and IYF around here in Ohio, but they always throw sets mega early in the morning in in Columbus, and I live about an hour or so from Columbus lol
Come over to Ohio sometime if you ever can in the future, Todd is a pretty chill dude from how he responded to me on Facebook!

I'm from the Atlanta scene. Happy Hardcore and Hard Dance was big in 2006-2008. Then it came back around 2013-2016, but it was like...DJs who didn't know how to mix, or they would go from a 170 bpm tune into a 130 bpm tune...and then another genre was the next track...
Nashville had a huge scene for a while as well, and it was better organized. But even their scene has kind of died off for now.

I'm also in Atlanta. Happy hardcore DJ's are sparse but we're staying alive. This year's Momocon had S3RL playing so I hope that'll increase interest by a bit. Hardstyle is pretty poppin though

I don't see any BIG name producers coming to Ohio ever, lol. Not even S3RL.
It's a shame, honestly. All of the people living in states that are less involved in the scene have no outlets to rave and have fun loving the music we do.

Ya, I'm from the original Spring4th Days (2005) before it ever became the Quad, and eventually sold to UGA. Playground Productions was still around and they were using that old Southern Mills warehouse. AtlPsy was around (2006) and only dished out Dark Psytrance parties, not all this weak Progressive Psy going around now.
I'm friends with Sid Reflux (met him at my 1st rave in 2005). He's spinning AWA this year (if you hadn't heard yet!) I remember when DJ Snarf was still around in GA. After I left the scene (when Horrible Children took over and pretty much pushed anything over 160 bpm out the window), it just got hard to get back into it. I remember when the parties were at Kaladiscape, but that's the era I'm talking about where these DJs were just up there not spinning an actual set, just meshing different genres together while trainwrecking to death. That old magic from the 2000s I loved had died out where everyone was dancing and not just stoned up against the wall. I also went to the Katalyst events , but hard dance had just moved on by then.
Atlanta just needs to be flushed out and start back over in the warehouses with hard dance genres.
