You should call it "Return to Shooting Star"
On second thoughts, please don't.

LOL....
Nah, it aint chee zee !
I know it's thin ice really because any follow up would have to be super special to carry a part 2 moniker. However (hopefully) you guys know me by now and although I may only release a small handful of new tracks, you know that they'll be through the quality control barrier and that without even hearing it, you could buy it and not be disappointed. If you liked Shooting Star, Break of Dawn, 'Til The Day etc etc you'll like this one.
The song itself (lyrics/melody) is one of the best things I've been involved with. (It's a co write with me and Chris). You come up with a song like this once every 3 years or so. I'll have the candlelight mix up soon because we're showing the song off first before we get the mixes done.
Be assured, this isn't a cash in on the Shooting Star name (I don't have to do that) but it's a continuation of the story ....
Once the candllight mix is done I'll post a link here. I know this wont be hardcore, but I know there are some of you that will really appreciate this version.
Cheers guys.

Oh yeah, can't wait.
First off, I'm SURE no-one would EVEN think you were ever gonna use the "shooting star" name to cash in on anything.
And he's right (even if he does say it himself ) every release of his you can buy assured, that it will be pure quality. The quality control on this guy is at an amazingly high standard, well done.
Really can't wait.

Is the CD really only a 500-copy limited edition, like it says in your website?
Coz if it is, ill have to keep some "emergency cash" so when its out ill be sure to have the money...

The 500 limited CD will be the album that I'm (slowly) putting together. The actual release of the new tracks will be on CD singles and they'll be plenty around!
I still rate CD singles a great deal as the mixes you get are unmixed even though sales are dwindling. My only hope is that I get the support from the Hardcore crowd which will in turn help my case in the future to include more HH mixes on new releases. Believe me, just you guys buying 2000 singles in the first week of release can make the difference between a top 20 and a top 10 !! and that means the better the chance of getting a Hardcore mix on the next release cos I can justify its inclusion.
Don't forget too, that in most cases, the HH mix if featured on a CD single thats on a national release will also be on the 12" vinyl as well, so those that want their vinyl can still get it. You just might have to accept a few more commercial mixes too. Just keep this record in a seperate box !!! lol
As for the quality control comment, I apologise if that sounds a little arrogant, it wasn't intended. I just want to let people know that I do write a load of stuff, but not all of it ever gets heard, I have to be well pleased with it for it to go out. This is mainly when I'm putting the song together and the lyrics/melody works well. After that, you can morph it into almost any genré/mix and it should still appeal.
Sorry this has strayed from the original topic a tad, I'll shut up now!
