What are the rubber slipmatts for I am new to techs so if some one could tell me it would be appreciated...thanks

dont use them for anything where you require touching the platter. they are designed for hifi use, they have a more stable base for the record to sit on, absorbe vibrations and dont attract static. hence are great if you use your turnies for sampling or just listening to records (NO BACK CUEING WITH THE RUBBER MATS ON!)
