Bit of an odd one, especially as im not into making tracks or anything, but i have always wondered what was used at the time to give that classic happy hardcore sound, the best examples i can think of is the lead melody of the big spill, the beginning of u and me by 2 without heads (scott brown version) and pretty much every force and styles track, i have been steered towards it being something off the korg m1 after discussing it with a mate once but found nothing even similar on that as theres a site with digital clips i managed to find, anybody know, as i have wondered for years but have never been able to find out.
