So I just bought the Hardcore Coalition EP with Headlong Into Mishchief on it and the hole is too small for me to properly place it and remove it from the turntables. I've been able to push it all the way down and listen to it without much effort but the force required to then remove it isn't something I'm entirely comfortable with. whata the best way to slowly widen that hole up so I don't just break the middle piece?

insert a pen or pencil and twist it around a bit.

yep, just try to shove a pen in the hole without too much force. ive snapped a records in the past with really tight holes when i try to pull them off the deck really quick, Bad memories :(

Or the old tightly rolled bit of sandpaper and spin it a few times. Never had to do this but I know people who have and never had an issue.

Well, the vinyl is quite easy to break, but not from trying to make the whole bigger, unless you're holding it like an idiot :P

Now I have a question but I do not wanna lag the admins server space by adding a new post how do ye repair a warped record? I have googled this question & I heard a oven I think wif 2 bits aff glass does work. Now this was years ago so I may have miss read & I think would totally cook the plastic. I wonder anyone came across this problem coz when I have made a practice mix & when I play it back I hear a disturbing noise I wonder whit is the best way ti get rid aff the slight noises ti make the mix sound clear.
Probably better ti buy an exact vinyl copy Is probably the easiest & cost effective when making a mix.

There is nothing you can do that won't effect the sound negatively in other ways. Better off re-recording.

from what I understand, as long as it gets flat again (atleast flater :P) it should work. Just make sure you use glas that can withstand oven heat (but then you only need about 75-100 deg C anyways).
Sound quality might still be affected tho.

Well as I live wif ma folks I don't think ma maw would appreciate in me ruining her oven Id be better repurchasing new Vinyl I pay fir house Keep but if I damage her oven Id be safe in not attempting Imagine Xmas Dinner having bits aff plastic that would not go well oon Xmas Day :P

If you heat it between 2 pieces of glass at a LOW Steady temperature, it should be fine.
