OK, here's one for ya's since there's so much talk going on about Wonderful Days... This one's very obscure, it's the same tune as wonderful days but it has the following words (these are VERY inaccurate btw):
"beautiful nights and beautiful days
wonderful dreams will you laugh through the tears
we can run all our lives in the hope that we find, singing a song la-la-la-la-la-la
let the words that we say be the things that we do,
let the dreams that we dream be reality too
And you can live all your days in the heaven above,
open your heart and I'll give you my love"
I found these lyrics in a MOD from a few years back (1996) and I'm curious to know where the lyrics have been sampled from. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
With the moderators' permission I could post a link to the MOD I have... (mods are a music format for those who don't know, very similar to MIDI files)
Note: This would be perfectly legal as mods are free to distribute and is encouraged by the original composer.
Oh yeah, the title of the mod is 'Beautiful Days' by techn0 0verd0se, remixed by data, sonik and ace.. The filename is beaut.mod if anyone wants to find it themselves.

Well, here it is: http://www.ug.cs.usyd.edu.au/~itriggs/BEAUT.MOD, you should be able to play this in Winamp (although it doesn't sound 100% correct). The file is under 1MB.
This really is an interesting song, have a listen and let me know if u have any ideas where the vocals were taken from.

ian: hmmm interesting, they came out about the same time 96' I would assume due to the fact MOD creation is generally a low cost solution that this track has an orginal and this is just a remix of it. Now in saying that Wonderful days could be a rip off of this track... hmmm but I don't want to tarnish Wonderful days that is such a great tune.... what do other people think?

Wonderfull Days by Charley Lownoise and Mental Theo was originally taken from:
Tony Ronald and Help (Get Me Some Help).
The beautifull days just sounds asthough someone has altered the words lsightly.

If you have winamp, look at the file info of beautiful days and it tells you in German that its a remake of wonderful days not a predecessor.

Yeah I know, but it doesn't give me any details to who the remake is by which is what I'm after.
I never said it was a predecessor.
